Im wondering about the following thing's
1.is it possible to sail to either Greece or Turkey from Larnaca and if so how nuch wud it roughly cost.
2.Is there many problems if I crossed over into northern Cyprus and would we have any hassle coming back into southern Cyprus( do I need a visa,as im Irish).
3.How expensive is Cyprus,eg food,drink,taxis from airport to hotel.
4.Are there any good niteclubs and are there any Irish bar's?.

Does anybody know if it's possible to get a boat/ferry to Egypt form larnaca in September and if so a rough idea of the cost.

my girlfriend and i will be arriving in larnaca airport august 22nd around 2:30 in the afternoon, and traveling to choral bay, pafos. anyone traveling to and arriving in larnaca around that time interested in sharing a cab to choral bay and splitting the cost, let me know. thanks.

my girlfriend and i will be traveling to cyprus near the end of august. we are flying into larnaca, on a sat. afternoon, and we need to get to choral bay. does anyone know how things work as far as transportation is concerned? are there group shuttles that go to the resort areas from the airport? i know there are taxis but they are on the expensive side . any suggestions? thank you.

They are on 1, Armenikis Eklisias Str.,. any info on this location.

this is what they told me "Only 10 minutes drive from Larnaca International Airport, conveniently located in the heart of Larnaca."

Can anyone advise on the easiest way to get from Larnaca to the Romanian Embassy (address: Cyprus K27, Pireos Str.) in Nicosia? We will be arriving at around 8:00am on a Monday morning.If you could advise on cost and travel time that would be much appreciated.

Has anybody been to the Frixos Apartments? I've booked one appartment there but anybody from the hotel answer me for further information. I'm a little bit concerned because in 5 days I'll be in Larnaca.
Any info would be helpful. especially i want to know if this hotel does exist.

I will be arriving at Larnaca Airport on the 9th. March. I am planning to rent a car from airport. Can anyone give me the exact driving instructions to go to Larco Hotel in Pontou Street, Larnaca, please? I have tried to find a map of the area, but I just can't. I would also like to know if I can rent a GPS. Thanks in advance.

Hi, does anyone know if there are shared shuttles running from the airport to the city at night or expensive taxis are our only chance?

And also, we come to Cyprus for the whole February. What's the weather like then? Beginning/End of the month? "What to wear” question is hanging in the air...

Hello everybody!

Me and my boyfriend are traveling to Larnaca for 10th March to 16th March. We would like to know if there are some interesting hiking routes leaving directly from Larnaca or the near areas? - one day trips of example.

Also we would enjoy probably more demanding routes in the mountain areas...but as we won't have a car or do not want to rent one, how is the public transportation? can we get by bus to a good town/village close to the hiking areas in the trodos? and which places would be nice and interesting to see?

Hi! Can I just ask if there are places to hire quad bikes in larnaca, ive been searching on the net and cant find anything else other than car hire? Also, how long is the drive on a bike to Aiga Napa? Im also interested in knowing what the people are like there as I will be there on my own most of the time.

I visited the Mosque in the 80's and read about a special watering system that kept the buildings cool?? it had a special name beginning with 'F' I think.

Can anyone enlighten me as to what this was?? and how it worked?

any help please. About to book to stay at Tsokkos Gardens Hotel in Protaras. Flying into Larnaca about 1500 on sunday 19 november. Does anyone know how far it is to Protaras? could I get a bus on sunday into larnaca and then another onto Protaras. How much might a taxi cost? Or should I just hire a car?

We're a party of 4 looking to fly into Larnaca and then transfer up to northern Cyprus Famagusta via taxi. Is this possible? (in terms of any border control), how long is the transfer? What would be the approximate cost?

I am traveling to Larnaca Cyprus in August for 7 days on vacation. I would like to get some comments about the "Antonis G apartments" in Larnaca?
1-Is it in a safe area?
2-How convient is it to the beach, food, buses, shopping etc?
3-Any other comments about the hotel or area that may help me?

4-Any other recommendations for hotels to use.
