Paphos paphos in october
Posted: Sun July 20, 2008 05:45 PM UTC
I've just returned from paphos with nine of my friends and we had a really good time, particularly enjoying the night life on bar street. We would like to return this October so I was wondering if anyone knew what the weather was like at that time and, most importantly, if it is still busy with a good night life in October?
Thanks a lot

Paphos Buses, Taxis and Restaurants?
Posted: Thu June 19, 2008 01:25 PM UTC
Me & my boyfriend are off to Paphos in about a weeks time, we're staying in a friend's apartment at Geroskipou/Yeroskipou and I've been looking at the bus timetable and found there is only one bus that goes through there and the route is...

Route: Karavella parking, Market, Gladstonos, Gr. Digeni, Athinon, Arch, Makarios, Yeroskipou

Which would be the best stop to get off at if we wanted to go to the Harbour?

Also does anyone have any reccommendations for restaurants, ones that do salads, chips or pizzas are fine!

Are the taxis fairly reliable, will the come pick you up from most places?

Sorry for all the questions, it's the first time we've been away together on our own and we're a bit nervous! Thanks in advance :)

Paphos Accommodation
Posted: Sat June 7, 2008 12:08 PM UTC
Hello all,

if I may ask, I would love to visit Cyprus, especially Paphos, or - even better - the near resort Coral Bay. I would like to go there at the beginning of July, but I was unable to find any relatively cheap accommodation there... I would be very grateful, if anybody could give me an advice please. I would like to stay there approximately one week (I want to make nice surprise for my girlfriend, who is working in Coral Bay in one of those hotels during this summer...). Thank you in advance,

Paphos Taxi from Airport
Posted: Fri May 2, 2008 11:21 AM UTC
We have booked an apartment in July via a letting agent in the centre of Paphos. Can anyone give me an idea of the cost of a taxi from the aiport? Should we pre book one via the letting agent (they are quoting approx £28 GBP) or should we just get one from outside the airport?

Paphos daphne hotel and apartments and other general queries???
Posted: Wed April 30, 2008 08:03 AM UTC
hi guys,

me and my girlfriend are both 22 and we are stayin in the daphne apartments for 10 nights from 8th july to the 18th july this summer and was wondering if anyone had any reviews on them, etc. we are in a 1 bed apartment and self catering.

there doesn't seem to be many reviews around the web and it isn't even on the list on this website. photos make it look ok, pretty basic but a good location which is all we need really.

also i was wondering how hot it actually gets in paphos as i heard it got up close to 35 celsius but i have read elsewhere that is is more like high 20's.

very much looking forward to what looks like a fab place to go. does anyone also know if the redevelopment of the barbour area is complete yet as i am hoping it is not a building site when we are there.

daphne seems to be a close location to the seafront near the harbour, are the beaches here okay or do you need to travel further such as coral bay?

thanks in advance for any advice.

Paphos District Goats milk and car seats (random I know!!!)
Posted: Sun April 6, 2008 09:22 PM UTC
Hi
Will shortly be visiting Paphos, it's been a little while since I've been there so can't remember and would appreciate your help!
Some members of my party can't have cows milk and drink goats milk. I know I'm going to the country of goats and sheep produce BUT can I get goats milk in Woolies or one of the supermarkets there pretty easily? Stupid question, I know, but I've got to check.
Also, can anyone recommend a reputable car hire company there? We also need to hire car seats for infants, or is it advisable to bring our own?
Thanks!!!

Paphos Weather in Paphos
Posted: Sat February 23, 2008 12:03 AM UTC
Hi, I have just booked a villa in Coral Bay Paphos for 1 week 19th April to 26th April and would like to know if anyone has been there at that time who can let me know what the weather will be like. I am praying that it will be hot enough to sunbathe as my son needs some sun for medical reasons. Also, if the evenings are cold do we need a jacket?
Thanks,
Lesley.

Paphos District Paradise Gardens
Posted: Mon September 24, 2007 10:13 PM UTC
Hi, we are looking to rent 2 villas or apartments, 1 x 2 bed (sleep at least 4) and 1 x 3 bed (sleep at least 6), August 2008. I have found some at Paradise Gardens, but someone told me the place was overrun with cats. Does anyone know if this is true? Has anyone stayed here, or can anyone recommend good accommodation complex? Villas/apartments must be together, and we need to accommodate young children aswell as adults. Thanks.

Paphos Paphos in October?
Posted: Wed August 22, 2007 07:36 AM UTC
Hi. I am going to a weekend in Paphos in October this year. I am taking my 4 year old son. What is the weather like then? Will he be able to swim in the pools without freezing? Will it be hot enough for us adults to lay around sunbathing and getting a tan? If we can't, any ideas of what to do for a week with limited funds? We might be able to hire a car for a day if we are lucky.

Paphos District Paphos - flights and accommodation
Posted: Sat June 9, 2007 06:52 PM UTC
Hi, friends of ours are getting married in Paphos at the end of May 2008. We are going to make a holiday of it with our two kids and wondered which is the best way to do this i.e. package deal or book flights separately and hotel. Also whereabouts would be the best area to stay in. We would prefer to be fairly central. Hopefully flying from Manchester. Any ideas and good websites would be much appreciated. Many thanks.
