I'm travelling to Rijeka for the first time next March. I need to return to Italy and wondered whether anyone could advise on a cruise/boat travel that goes from Rijeka to Venice or other parts of Italy that would be worth doing? (I'd like to see some of the Croation coastline rather than just go back to Italy by train or bus.)

Also - how long would you recommend staying in Rijeka? is there much to do from a tourist perspective?

Hi!:) Im a 23 old girl and ill be travelling to Rijeka in August! Im actually from there but ive been living abroad since i was little so i dont know nobody there except my family!! Ill have a car while im staying there and would like to travel a bit and am searching for some fun company! Ill be going to Porec, Rovinj, Pula and would like to stay in a guesthouse somewhere else and spend the night! Would like to go to Venice or just whatever :) Is anyone here searching for some company? Am no freak :)

I am planning to travel to Krk end July - to early August. I wanted to know if anyone can suggest best way to get there from Venice International Airport to perhaps Rijeka airport and give me an approximate idea about the cost.

I am a student currently studying in the Czech Republic. After school is over in mid May I would like to travel along the coast, south of the Czech Republic. I am planning to go from Prague, to Vienna, to Ljubljana, to Rijeka and perhaps Split and then to perhaps Macedonia or Albania.
I have been attempting to find train routs through these places and have been relatively successful, however there are no rates posted. What would the best means of transportation be between all these places and can anyone recommend any websites? I have spent so much time researching and have found so little. Also, is this trip even feasible on a student's budget? Thank you so much for all your help, and any advice at all is appreciated!
ps I posted this in the Rijeka, Croatia forum because going to coastal cities in Croatia was my initial inspiration for traveling. Any ideas of other places to go or not to go would be helpful as well.

New to this site! I am looking to fly to Rijeka from the Uk, probably early July time. I'm at a loss as to what tourist, seaside areas are within driving distance of Rijeka. Are there any that are a maximum of one hours drive from the airport and what tourist attractions are around that we may wish to visit? Also any ideas as to how much we would expect to pay for accommodation (preferably with use of a pool)? I would be visiting with my 2 daughters aged 14 and 11. Thanks in advance for any information anyone can offer me.

I am taking a bus (SAF autotrans) from Trieste to Rijeka at 12:30 on Monday, September 19. I've found the bus schedule on the web, but I cannot find a way to reserve two seats.

Could you please help me find out how to reserve a bus ticket for the trip? (I can pay in advance by credit card.) It is important that I take that bus, because I'm schedule to leave Rijeka by ferry to Dubrovnik at 20:00 on that day.
