I am wanting to travel between Odessa and Bourgas by the easiest and cheapest means available. I would travel to Sunny Beach or Nessabar if either were easier. I would appreciate any suggestions.
Question is simple, but I have night flight from Budapest to Varna. We will arrive to Varna at round 1:30 - 2:00 o'clock at night. My hotel is in Ravda, near Burgas. What do you suggest?
I know that the first bus departure from Varna is at 6:00 o'clock.
I don't know what departures have the train.
Or do you know some inepencive hostel in Varna which will take us in the middle of the night and only for one night?
Hi! Is there anyone who know whether there is bus / train going from Varna
(Bulgaria) to Constanta (Romania)in August? Moreover, please also tell me the
timetable of these transportations.
Thanks !
this summer i want to stay in golden sand for 1 week i need to know:
how far is from golden sand to balchik? and how can i reach there ,what is the
rate for taxi / bus ... ?
When I was in Mangalia in 2007, there was a minibus that went from Mangalia to Varna with one stop somewhere in between. It was not terribly expensive (35lei). I am going back there this summer, and I have not been able to find any information on the net about it. Even the last time I had no information, I ended up getting the details when I was in Mangalia. I will be leaving from Constanta and going to Varna. A week later I will be returning from Varna to Mangalia.
Is the minibus service still running between the 2 cities? And would anyone know the schedule for it? I cannot find any information anywhere. While i have read other constructive information about transferring a few times from place to place, I would rather get a more direct route like i had found in 2007.
I plan to go to Byala in the summer 2009 (July). My friends have a flat there and I am looking for a place to stay because they have no extra place for me and my son. I want to find a hotel or rent a flat in the town (not at the Byala Beach Resort because this is very expensive). Does anyone know about a place where we can stay? I would most of all want to rent a flat with two sleeping rooms. Thank you if you can help!
Hardrive data transfer service in Plovdiv, or Varna, Bulgaria?
My laptop just died in Bulgaria, but the HDD is still working. I have a new laptop, but I have a large music collection still kicking on the old hardrive. I need to know a few shop names where they take out old hardrives, and transfer the contents to new ones. Thanks.
If professional hardrive data transfer isn't the answer, I would like to hear alternative ideas? Someone suggested taking out the HDD, and placing it in a exteneral hardrive case, and then connect the case via usb, in effect turning my old HDD into a huge flash drive. It sounds a lot of better, and a cheaper (free) option, but what if it doesn't work? Chances are I'd lose the contents of the drive if something went wrong (i.e. incompatibility).
What's Shumen plateau park like?
Is it just mainly forest or some point of view, rocks, canyons?
Is it good place for hiking?
Is it very hot in July?
Perhaps my family will go to Bulgaria, but I can't imagine to stay at Black See for long period of time.It must be boring (even if many people here tell that there are much nicer views there than at Baltic See;).I think that it will be good to see something else (things like Madara, Veliko Tyrnovo etc.) and to do some easy hiking with my early teenage children. However I'm also afraid that it can be too hot for it in July.

We are planning a trip for 10 days to Golden Sands. And have couple of questions about getting there. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
We live in New York and there are no straight filights to Varna. I am trying to find fastest and cheapest way of getting there. Do you know if there are trains from Praugue to Varna? How long is the train traide? Where I can find time table?
I heard there are ferries from Odessa and Instanbul? can you give me some info on these. How long are the ferry rides, how often do they go?
Also can you recommend any other convinient way of getting there from Europe? Ideal way for us would be to have a preferably straigh fligh from New York to some city in Europe and then take train or ferry to Varna.

I must go from Varna to Bucharest on 10 July. The only information I have found is a train that arrives in Ruse at 12:35. The last bus from Ruse to Bucharest seems to be at 12:40. I've been unable to find anything about buses from Varna to Ruse or trains from Ruse to Bucharest.
I am interested in the most cost efficient, fastest and most problem free route. Am I asking too much? I did read about a night train which I'd would prefer not to take.
i want to be in golden sand for this summer do you have any suggestion for me to selecet an All inclusive 4* hotel or a 5* BB hotel in golden sand (the price is the same)?
is the price for any drinking or snacks is reasonable in hotes or not?
What is the least expensive way to get from Sofia to Varna then from Varna to Bucharest, and what is the approximate price for this? I would really appreciate any help I can get.

Cruise Ship Posted: Wed January 30, 2008 07:08 PM UTC
Hi, we are going to Varna in May. Do cruise ships dock far from the town and, if so, is there an easy way to reach the town. What should we see whilst there?
