I am needing to travel to Dubrovnik from Korcula on a wednesday... there is only one ferry at 6pm getting there at 9.50pm

is there anyother way of travelling to dubrovnik apart from ferry?

I see that there are two different ferry or catamaran destinations in Korcula. One is called Vela Luka and one is just called Korcula. How far apart are these two? Is it possible to get public transportation from one to the other? If so, how much does it cost and how long does it take to travel between the two?

Is there anyway to go from Korcula to Dubrovnik on Wednesday by ferry or catamaran? This would be much prettier, I think, then by bus.

Hi are there daily ferry connections between Korcula and Hvar and Hvar Korcula in the high season or is it only once or twice a week?

Does anyone know of a ferry/catamaran or bus that would leave Korcula Town on Sunday afternoons in May, going to Dubrovnik?

Can anyone tell if it's easier to take the bus or taxi from the ferry terminal in Vela Luka to Korcula Town. AND can anyone give me a reliable bus schedule for this route (I have found different times on different websites).

I am trying to get from dubrovnik to korcula on friday june 9th and from all the ferry schedules I have looked at this doesn't seem possible. Does anyone know of any ferries that sail this route on fridays or if possible another solution would be a way to get from mljet to korcula directly. I would appreciate any help - the ferry schedules are driving me crazy!

We want to get from Korcula to Athens departing Korculaon 24 May 07. Can anyone advise the least complicated way? Thanks in advance for any help.

We will be travelling to Korcula in July and have a few questions.
* Where is the best area to stay on the island? We would like to be close to the beach, restaurants and bars.
* There seem to be a lot of different coastal ferry timetables on the internet and I find the Jardolinja website quite confusing. All I really need to know is if there is a passenger ferry running from Dubrovnik to Korcula on a Saturday during July?
* Also, is it possible to rent scooters on the island? and if so is a local licence required?

So we're going from Venice to Korcula in late August. What's the fastest, most direct way to do that trip, in your opinions? We were thinking taking the train to Ancona, fast 4 hr. ferry from Ancona to Split, then another ferry to Korcula?

Thoughts? Is there a cheaper, more efficient way?

Hi, I am going to Korcula for two weeks and I wonder if it is worth taking a bike. Are there any marked trails around the island? Is it safe to ride a bike there?

I'm finding it hard to get accomodation in Korcula early August. Should have booked it weeks ago but had no time! Anyway - if I just turn up am I likely to be able to get SOMETHING? I don't really care what - just a bed for the night!
