Does anybody can reccomend any appartment for 2 persons, or anybody has free appartment between 27-o7-2008 and 07-08-2008 in Krk Island.

I am going to go there. But we wonder if there is any beach there becous of the clif, and eventually where is the nearest nice beach.

generally is it nice place for stay?

when i visited Vrbnik we went to a shop where an artist made carnival masks, on the wall outside there was a plaque of a mask. Do you know the name of the shop or how to contact them. which I had bought one but did not have time with our tour.

Hi, im due to travel to krk at the beginning on September with a friend. I've been to Dubrovnik before and we got accomodation when arriving at the bus stop. Is it similar when you arrive to the krk bus station, with locals offering their apartments for rent? Or should we book something before we travel?

I am landing in Rijeka airport (which I believe is on Krk island) on August 17th at 16.15, and then have to travel down to Supetarska Draga on Rab Island... which is the best way to get there? is there a bus, or a ferry??

We travel in july to Krk island (Krk town). Could somebody tell me, is there a regular busline between Rijeka - Krk town in july, and how often buses are driving? I found some timetables by internet, but I did not get exact information part of summer.

My husband and I are arriving at Rijeka airport late on 15th September and don't really want to go to Rijeka- we'd rather stay on Krk. Any recommendations on where to go and how to get there? We would like to take an appartment, is our late arrival going to be a problem-I think we'd arive around midnight?

I had a look at some travel catalogues. There are some good offers. The room I'd like to book are in places called Malinska and Punat. Are these far from Krk town? Hoe are they like? What about public transportation on theat island?

Hi! I'm looking for the most painless way to get from Krk to Ljubljana. From the research I've done it appears I have to take a bus up to Rijeka and then a train or bus from Rijeka to Ljubljana? Are there any Yays or Nays on this? And how would I find out what the bus schedules leaving from Rijeka to Ljubljana are? Are these online somewhere??

We are going To Krk On the 23rd August YYYYIIIIPPPPEEEEEE, we are staying in Krk Town but would like to go the national park for the day?

Is that posible ?

It doesn't look that far on the map with a ferry crossing at baska, but if waiting time's are high then i guess not?

Has any one done this trip in a day, are there private speed boats??

Any other recomendations / suggestions on the surrounding area would be greatly appreatiated

We are a family from Belgium. This year we decided to get the Holiday's in Croatie. It's the first time.
We wanted a location nearby the sea, but with connection to visit inside the country. Thatfor we choose the island of Krk.

We travell with a caravan. Is somebody know a good camping. Good for us = sympatic, the accomodation ok, Not a tric for tourist.
What do you thing about a location on the island ???

And I'm also looking to get the first knowlege in the language. Can somebody help me.
