Pros and Cons of staying in Medulin

Hi all

I am finding so little about this destination. Apparently it's a "suburb" of Pula and is right on the coast.

Could someone tell me pros and cons of staying here? Is this a regular small village, is it convenient to get to the rest of the Istrian coast, is there ferry access, etc.

Medulin - rent a apartment, with a sswimminpool, from Tuesday til Friday the week after

I've large problems finding an apartment, in Medulin, which is not week rental from Saturday til Saturday.

So if anyone can give me a feedback where I can find a apartment with a swimmingpool in the Medulin-area from Tuesday 27th June till 7th of July, for a nice price, contact me through this forum or send me an email. We are 2 adults and two children (5 and 7 years old)

Ice Cream?

Can anybody recommend a decent ice cream parlour to attend after mixed grill and erdinger? We found one but it is 4kn per blob but you get a free tissue with it....also does anyone know where they do a double cone so that you can have a blob in each one rather than one on top another?

Mixed Grills in Medulin?

I have heard on the grapevine that the mixed grills in Medulin Restaurants are something to write home about, can anybody provide some input on the best places to go for a mixed grill? I notice that there is a post re Mimosa but has any body any other suggestions as they have run out of Erdinger!
