now i'm planning to have a trip from Istanbul to Burgas. Does anyone has an information about visa regime? Bulgaria is a schengen country now? i have a French schengen, butt i'm not sure that if Bulgaria is in the schengen agreement..

And is it possible to get a necessary visa at the border?

Hi! We are thinking of travelling to Istanbul through Burgas. I have read earlier notes about busses for 20 euros. Do these still work? And if yes, how much does it cost, how much time does it take, how complicated is it to get from the airport to the bus? And where can I get more specific info about the busses? Thank you!!!!

Hello, I am flying to Burgas next week, and am planning to spend 3 days there before making my way to Kosovo. I would like to know if there is a direct bus from Burgas to Skopje. If not, I will have to get to Sofia first. I checked train schedule, and trains to Sofia travel 8 (!) hours, which seems to be too long. How long does it take to travel to Sofia by bus? Sorry, I tried to call Sofia and Burgas bus stations, but couldn't get through. Many thanks!

Hi there. My girlfriend and I are going to Burghas for several days. Does anyone know about cheap and good places we could stay? We also thought about renting a car to do some traveling around (Nessebar, Sozopol and other places) - any car rental companies in Burghas?

В края на май, ако се справя с транспорта, ще пътувам до Румъния. Проблемът е във връщането - в 6:12 сутринта (30 май) влакът ми пристига в Букурещ. Въпросът е как да стигна до Бургас, преди 22 - 23:00? Въобще, това възможно ли е с обществен евтин транспорт? С влак или с автобус?

In may this year I will be backpacking along the Black Sea coast of Romania and Bulgaria to Istanbul. I actually would like to visit one of the coasttal villages south of Burghaz, but I heard that it will be hard to hitch hike from there to the Turkish border. Is it true that there are only few cars along the coast to the southern border? Are there any busses on this way or should I better take the train?
