Nice riads in Casablanca? Posted: Sat October 17, 2009 05:05 AM UTC
Hello!
I and my husband will visit Morocco this winter.
I have been looking for a riad(Moroccan style hotel) in Casablanca, but I haven't found any yet :-(
Riads are Moroccan style hotels.... renovated Moroccan houses etc.
There are many modern hotels in Casablanca, but we would like to stay at a riad.
If you know one, please let us know :-)
Thank you very much for your help.

Visiting Morocco Posted: Mon April 20, 2009 12:39 AM UTC
Hi,
I want to Visit Morocco and mainly Casablanca and Fez.
I see that the hotels are a bit expensive for me. (I live in a Mauritius). The cheapest I found is 40 Euro)... Are there hotels in these two places which are less say around 20 Euro?
And secondly can I rent a condo or an apartment for some two weeks?
Thanks

Underground Casablanca (Passage souterrain) Posted: Fri February 27, 2009 02:29 PM UTC
Does Casablanca have underground street crossing places or other public activities? Or are there public areas underneath a building (for shade)?
We are investigating at the TU Delft, The Netherlands if there are any underground crossings in Casablanca, which type of society uses it and how they work.
Monday we will fly to Casablanca. If you could answer me before, I would be very thankfull! If you know some more underground crossings in Casablanca, I am interested to know them, so that we can visit and analyze them.
Kind regards,

Booking the Visit of the Hassan II Mosque Posted: Sun January 18, 2009 05:31 PM UTC
Hello.
Maybe a month ago, when I started planning my Moroccan trip, I found a website where one could book his visit of the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. However, I did not bookmark it back then and today I tried really hard to find it and I could not. Maybe the problem is that the website was in French and I used only English keywords to look it up in Google. Could anybody try to find it? I guess it might not be necessary to book a visit in advance, but I have already decided on my schedule and I am certain when I will go to the mosque.
Thank you very much

Rental Car in downtown Casablanca to Tangier Posted: Tue January 6, 2009 03:05 AM UTC
Hi there - hoping someone can point us in the right direction.
We want to rent a car to drive up the coast and drop off in Tangier. So one way travel. We would like to rent it in downtown Casa if possible and drop it off in downtown Tangier - same day. We just want to see a bit of the coast and make a few stops. The trouble we seem to find is that we are driving on a Sunday so pickup/drop off seem limited. We can (and would actually prefer) pick up the night before (Saturday) but we still need to drop the car off on Sunday.
Does anyone know of a good, inexpensive rental company that is open Sunday and will rent for one day, one way?
Thanks for the help!!
Looking forward to exploring Morocco!

Accommodating and Travel Posted: Thu May 15, 2008 05:12 PM UTC
I will be going to Casablanca this coming June for about a week or so, I am curious where the best place to stay would be. I am a student and looking to spend as little as possible on hotel/hostel. I have found the Youth Hostel, however, my emails requesting information have gone unanswered. Anyone have any ideas?
Also, it would fun to get out east and see the dunes or the Desert. I am not sure of transit times as far as bus or train and was wondering if anyone knew the easiest way to get a glimpse of the Sahara and possibly get a camel ride.
thanks again
