Any online street search map for Sarajevo, Bosnia ?

In September 2008 a group of 35 people will visit Sarajevo for a few days.
The programme is allready fixed.
For a few small trips (airport-Hotel v.v. and from the Center to a suburb v.v.) we will need bus-transportation.
Who can forward me addresses and phone-numbers of private buscompanies in Sarajevo for this purpose?

I need info for travel from Sarajevo to Budapest, Belgrade and even Zagrab fare and timetable by coach or train, is there local online for coach company or train ? perfer cheaper fare.

Hello, I am wondering if it will be easy to travel between these above places, are buses/trains readily available? Was hoping to leave from Kotor then into Bosnia (dont mind which city I do first) ending in split. Any ideas? thanks.

I was planning on renting a car in Zagreb and driving around Croatia and then crossing the border and driving the car to Sarajevo. I would leave the car in Sarajevo and fly to London from there.

Is this ok or a bad approach? I am allowed to rent a car in Croatia and leave it in Sarajevo at a car rental place?

I spent a month there about 2 yrs ago studying war and peace for college. Well I fell in love with Sarajevo- even though I travelled throughout the country- I even cried when boarding the plane back home to America!!! I did not want to leave and vowed that I would one day return. However, here is my question. I am in an inter-racial relationship which is not an issue here however, I wonder how Bosnians view people of different races and what are their views on inter-racial relationships?

Are there many exchange offices to exchange Serbian Dinar ? I know this is uncommon currency.

Can anyone help me find the contact details for a store in Sarajevo selling Mostar cosmetics .It was closed when we where there & no one knew about it in Mostar

i have shipped a motorcycle from canada to sarajevo. the bike is registered in canada. i am coming to sarajevo again soon and want to get insurance so i can ride the bike on the street. can anyone tell me of an insurnace company in bosnia that will insure my bike for a few weeks while im on vacation.? thanks

I'll be in Sarajevo next weekend (easter) and I'd like to do a day trip to Mostar by train.
Firstly, is there any particular day - Friday, Saturday or Sunday which will be best to make the trip (things being closed in Mostar, availablity of seats on train etc)?
Secondly, should I pre-book the train ticket the day before, or will I be okay buying on the day?
Lastly, is there an online timetable, or does anyone know the traintimes for those days so I can start planning.

Any one know about the Public Bus timetable daily, or Travel agent running coach from Medjugorje to Dubrovnik Main Bus Station, depart & arrival time? and how much to Dubrovnik Airport from Main Bus Station, any Airport coach running from the town, how much, how long to travel to airport? We are interested to rent a small house, preferably close to the coast, in Bosnia for 6 weeks in summer, from late May to the end of June, 2008. We prefer an independent house rather than an apartment. A quiet village setting will be great. If anyone has recommendations for a rental and/or can direct us to websites that list rentals directly by owner, we would greatly appreciate it. We will rent a car so we can reach remote places, if necessary.

I'm planning to go to Belgrade and, 15 days later, fly out from Ljubljana. I'd like to stop off in Mostar and Dubrovnik - and would like to know of any other good places in the area to go. Does anyone know what the bus/train options are like? Thanks.

I wil be in Mostar next september 2008 for a few days and want to drive to Banja Luka. It looks around a distance of about 150kms. Has anybody driven that route and how long will it take to drive/ what condition are the roads in. Also would it be worth staying overnight in Banja Luka.Many thanks.

I am coming back to Banja Luka in April (I can't wait!! Nectar pivo!?!?!?!) and I am flying into Zagreb. What is the best way to get there? I am told bus but I see there is also a post saying that the train is a good option.
Can someone give me the names of the bus and train companies and approximate timings???

Hi - We would like to travel from Dubrovnik, via Mostar to Sarajevo. On the way back to Dubrovnik, I was wondering if I had to come back the same way or whether there was another route we could take, with interesting scenery or stops along the way. A route that we could also take using public transport. We'd be happy to stop over somewhere for the night if that made sense.
