I heard that Vitosha is a budget place to ski in Bulgaria, can anyone tell me a few things about it please?
Does it have good/frequent transport from Sofia? Is it good skiing/snowboarding? Does it have ski/snowboard instructors? Does it have a wide enough range of ski runs to satisfy beginners? Can you still ski in February? I'm going with a friend, I am a slightly skilled beginner skiier (can hold my own on beginner slopes as long as they're not icy), she is the same type of skilled snowboarder and we both want lessons. Any help you can give will be much appreciated - the tourist sites all go on about how great things are no matter what they're like so you never know! Thanks very much! |
