Dinant visiting chateau de veves
Posted: Wed July 2, 2008 02:23 PM UTC
What is the best way to get to the Chateau de Veves? How do I get there from Dinant if I don't have a car? What about getting from Dinant to Celles?

Namur Battle reenactment 8 Sept 2007 Namur park?
Posted: Sat September 8, 2007 07:58 PM UTC
While visiting our son who now lives in Brussels, we took a day trip to Namur. Very beautiful & interesting place. While exploring the Citadel, we heard explosions from the town. We stumbled upon a military reenactment in one of the parks. There were four marching armies depicted with flintlocks, muskets, drums and flutes. Does anyone know what era and battle and perhaps armies were portrayed on this Saturday afternoon? Is this a regular event in Namur?

Dinant Finding a Climbing Guide
Posted: Mon May 15, 2006 08:41 AM UTC
I've never been to Dinant but I hear that there is great rock climbing there. I'd like to find a person to show me some of the routes in my ability range and give me tips. Is there any kind of climbing guide service in the area? Thanks for any help.

Dinant Rochefort area questions
Posted: Wed April 12, 2006 02:43 PM UTC
I am planning to visit the Rochefort area this summer, my wife and I are trying to decide whether it would be better to stay in Rochefort proper or would it be easier to stay in a larger town like Dinant and driving (we will have a rental) to Rochefort. Our main purpose for the visit is to check out the Abbaye de Notre-Dame de Saint-Rémy. Any information would be appreciated.

Province de Namur Caves in the Ardennes
Posted: Fri January 30, 2004 04:11 PM UTC
Hi! There are lots of caves in the Belgian ardennes - too much to visit in only few days! I've already the Caves of Han on my list, and perhaps also the caves of Hotton. Does anyone know the Cave Pont D'Arcole (in Hastier) and the Cave Lorette-Rochefort (in Rochefort)? It seems that they are not so known and I wonder if they could be nice, too!
