Hello all,
I will be in Bosnia within a month, and I am planning to take the bus from Mostar to Dubrovnik. Is the bus stop in an easy-to-find place? How long does it take to get to Dubrovnik? What time is the last bus on Saturdays?
Thanks a lot for your answers!
Best!

Hey everybody,
I will be going to Mostar from Sarajevo and continuing on to Dubrovnik. If I take the early train from Sarajevo to Mostar, which passes an unbelievably beautiful route as I have been told, and thus arrive rather early, then spend the day and take the bus to Dubrovnik in the evening, do you think that would be a sufficient amount of time to see Mostar? Supposedly the buses Mostar-Dubrovnik only run on Mondays & Wednesdays, and I would be coming there on a Monday, so basically I would have to do as stated above or find an alternative way to get to Dubrovnik the next day.
Any thoughts?
Thanks a lot for the help, Phil

Hi everyone,
I am planning a trip Belgrade southwards to Greece. So far I am thinking of traveling to Sarajevo and then to Mostar. My plan is to then go south to Montenegro. What city/town there would be the best option in your opinion? I am indecided between Podgorica, Kotor and Budva. Criterions would obviously be the city itself but also the availability of transport starting from mostar and the connection possibilities going south towards Macedonia/Albania.
Any thoughts? Thanks for the help. Phil

Hi there!
I have read on some travel guides that the buses from Mostar to Croatia (Zagreb in my case) don't leave from the main bus station (next to the Train station)but from some other location on the "Croatian" side of town.
Has anyone taken this bus to Zagreb (the one that departs at 7:00 and travels via Livno, Kupres an Bosanska Gradiska) and can confirm me that?
If true, a google earth location link to spot the place would earn you my most absolute admiration!!

I'm driving from Dubrovnik to Mostar in late October.
I had planned to drive up the coast via Neum amd then take the E73 inland.
However, viaMichelin recommends going via Trebinje and Gacko. Looks longer to me, plus the road from Gacko to Mostar is lower grade than the others.
I know the Neum route will involve 3 border crossings as opposed to 1 on the Gacko road, so maybe that's the explanation.
Any thoughts or experiences out there?

I would like to visit Mostar. I will be in Zagreb and
have 3 days ,two nights that I would like to use to see
Mostar. Is the distance too great for that amount of time??
I have to go back to Zagreb for a flight out on day 3.
If this is not workable any ideas on another location
that is nearer to Zagrab??
Thanks

Hello everybody,
I would like to know what is the best way to have a day trip in Mostar.
1) From Split, take the bus to Mostar and return to Split. or
2) From Split, take the bus to Mostar and go directly to Dubrovnik.
My routing will be in Split, Mostar and Dubrovnik but I am not sure whether I can connect the bus to Dubrovnik after a day trip in Mostar.
Thanks

During a trip to Croatia this fall I would really love to plan a day trip to Mostar, however my traveling companion is concerned about our safety in traveling to as well as while visiting Mostar. Everything I have read leads be to believe it is safe. She was on board until a former military friend of hers told her we "absolutely shound not go". Does anyone have recent information on the safety of this area?

Hi guys, I should be moving in Mostar for an internship around Sept/Oct for 3 months, more or less. Could you give me an idea of the cost of living now? like, renting & eating. I'm not looking for extra luxury things, it's an unpaid internship, so won't be too fussy, but I need to get an idea for budgeting my money.
cheers!

My wife & I are from Singapore & we just realise that we need a visa to visit Bosnia. We will arrive in Zagreb then going down the coast to tour Mostar and Sarajevo.
Is it possible to apply for an urgent visa at the Bosnia and Herzegovina Embassy when we are in Zagreb? We have only a few short hours there.
Thank you for your help.
