Hi
Has anyone taken the shuttle bus from Brugge to Charleroi? It says it takes 2 hours. I've a flight departing at 11:30 - is getting the 9:00 shuttle advisable or is it cutting it a bit fine? Any other way of getting to Charleroi fron Brugge?
Many thanks for any advice.

Brugge Travel to Brugge
Posted: Sun September 7, 2008 09:53 AM UTC
Hi all,

I am going to Brussels with the eurostar but have booked hotel in Brugge. I'll be spedning few hours in Brussels and have to get to Brugge in the evening.

Is there a direct train from Brussels to Brugge? Perhaps a direct coach? I had a look at the www.b-rail.be but I couldn't find useful info.

Your help is appreciated.

Best,
V

Brugge List of B & Bs
Posted: Sat September 6, 2008 04:46 PM UTC
My wife and I, as well as another couple will be visiting Brugge in the first part of October. Being that we are not sure on our dates and it is starting to head into the off season we are planning on not pre booking accomidations. I am wondering if anyone has a good list B&Bs a person can call upon arrival? I know that in many other parts of Europe if you go to the local tourist office they will help find you a place. Is that a possibility for Brugge? Bottom line is any advice on the best way to track down a B&B on arrival would be appreciated.

Thanks

Brugge Hotel close to the channels.
Posted: Tue July 22, 2008 01:38 PM UTC
Hi all.
We are going to Belgium in Octouber. My wife visited the country some years ago(20 or 23 years), she fell in love with Brugge and she uses to talk about an hotel she saw then, close to the channels. But she was too young to afford it then, and I would like to find that one, or maybe another one with similar characteristics. I know 20 years is too much time, and the hotel may have disapeared, or maybe there are tens of them all long the banks of the channel...so I know it is a dificult question, but I would really apreciate any help.

Thanks.

Brugge Hand-made and Machine-made Lace
Posted: Tue July 15, 2008 07:44 PM UTC
I got great advice on the bike rental question...Thought I'd ask one more...

I know nothing about lace.
Reading about it on VT has left me with a question.
How can you tell hand-made lace from machine-made?
Yes, I know that hand-made is more expensive...But is another way to tell.

Can anyone recommend a lace shop in town that sells only hand-made items.

Thanks again for the help,
Doug

Brugge Brussels Airport to Brugge
Posted: Wed March 19, 2008 10:24 AM UTC
My elderly in-laws are taking a three night break in Brugge during May and will be flying in to Brussels airport late afternoon on a weekday. I would be grateful for any advice on transport links to Brugge centre from the airport. Ease and speed of journey and the least possible number of changes is more important than cost. Would they be better using bus or train? Thanks for you help.

My wife and I would love to see Leonard Cohen on his first World tour in about fifteen years. He is playing at the Cactusfestival in Brugge on 10th July 2008 but we can find no way to get tickets online. Does anyone in Brugge have details of a website where tickets may be available or other suggestions regarding availability?

Thank you,

Hello

I am trying to book a ticket for a FC Brugge match this saturday. And I don't understand what to pick of two options:

Afleveringswijze:

2 Voucher

I would like tp pay for it online, and pick up the ticket before the game. If that is possible.

Thanks.
