hi there...I'm going to be spending less than a day in Brussels before heading to Bergen Op Zoom in Netherland. I booked a room at the Marriot (citycenter) and was wondering if it's close to public train station. I'll need that to go to Bergen Op Zoom the next day which is a Saturday. any information about the stations and the tickets will be helpful....appreciate your help guys.

Will be in Brussels in May. Looking for schedules and prices for buses between Brussels and Amsterdam and between Brussels and Dusseldorf.

Im traveling to brussels on the 29th of febuary and landing mid afternoon at charleroi airport,im staying at the hilton brussels city hotel,i am wondering what would be the best way in which to travel to the hotel? i had first thought taxi but have been told this would cost 90 euros each way which is quite expensive,is there a good rail link? would it be easy enough to find if i hired a car? i dont speak the language which might cause a problem should i get lost lol, also has anyone got any recomendations on places to go,see,eat,do? any replies would be greatly appreciated.

we r planning to visit Brussels,Antwerp and Brugge in feb.we'll be coming from Amsterdam and proceeding to Paris.could you please tell me the order in which i should plan my visit and how many days we should spend in each city?I would also like to know if it would be better to base ourselves in Brussels and take the day trip to the other 2 places.thanks

Considering there are amny taller than average Belgina women, surely they must shop SOMEWHERE. Will this be in Brussels by any chance?

I will be staying in January in an hotel near the airport (Thon hotel), then will be heading to paris.. So I thought of having train from Airport to Paris (gare de lyon or even to train station near to Orly airport in paris)... I don't know if this possible or not.. actually budget is minimum.. :)

as i knew from this web that from brussel to amsterdam there are 2 kind of train.
but i do like to know about the ic train.?is it possible to get ticket on the day we want to departure?
we are in a group of 6 and i'm a bit worried if there are no possibility for 6 of us to get in the same train.then.how much does it usually cost for one way from brussel to amsterdam?

if i took a bus..is it better to buy online or buy on that time that i want to departure?

I was thinking of going to Brussels on the train from Paris but after reading all the posts on here about how unsafe it is I am a bit worried. I am on crutches and will there will be me and my mother. I wont have any luggage just my handbag and passport. I am also worried about if someone tries to pickpocket me I may get knocked over. I am being silly or should I reconsider this. Is 9pm too late to get the train back to Paris?

If I go do you think doing a hop on off bus tour will be better for me as its a bit easier for a disabled person or is it a waste of money. I am hoping to see the christmas markets.

I am looking to book a hotel which is near the grand place. and i will be travelling via the eurostar which stops at gare du midi. but i will probably take the metro to gare central. i was wandering if someone could please advise me on which metro train ticket i should buy.
there will be two of us and will need to get there and then back again for departing after two days.

I've recently moved to Brussels from the US and really miss Starbucks Cafe's. Its not so much the coffee, its the experience. I miss having a large chai to takeaway to keep me warm while I stroll the streets or alternatively, sitting in one of their cozy overstuffed chairs for hours while I chat with friends or read a book. I know the closest Starbucks is in Aachen, but I was hoping to find something in Brussels that provided this type of "coffee experience" and flexibility. Could any of you help?

I have a wonderful 0.01 euro Ryanair flight from Charleroi, but it's at 06:50 in the morning. I need to get from Antwerp to Charleroi Airport before 06:30.

None of the trains are running at that time. Are there buses that run that route? What are my alternatives? Please don't say I'm stuck with a taxi...

We're off to Brussels tomorrow- for the Christmas markets- once again.
WE went last year and found a beautiful restaurant/ cafe which we'd like to find again!
I can't remember its name or exact location.
It's very near the underground excavations/ museum and, I think, near the Bourse?
It's a stunning Art Nouveau restaurant- looking almost excatly as it would have looked in the 1900s.
Please- can anyone help?

we weill be in Brussels for 4 days over New Year's and I wonder what we could do considering it might get quite cold and we don't want to hang around cafes all the time.

So apart from the typical things to see (Atomium, Grande Place, Cathedrals) what could we do? Are there any museums we shouldn't miss? Where can we find great shopping? Are there any off the beaten path attractions we could go to? What are great destinations for a day trip from Brussels? And what would you advise us to do on New Year's Eve?

Trying to get from Brussels to Beersel via public transport on Sunday. I found that Tram 55 to Uccle Calevoet is supposed to enable a connection to bus 154. Cannot find a schedule for bus 154.

Is this a regular bus line?

We are a Scottish couple in our mid 20's (believe it or not we aren't big drinkers!) planning to be in brussels from the 31st of dec till 4th of Jan. Looking for suggestions of things to do and see and places to eat. Kind of on a budget, so looking for places that are of good value. Also planning to stay at the Bedford Hotel, the reviews seem fine, is that the case? Has anyone heard differently?

As for NYE, where is best to go if we dont have a restaurant booked. I've seen from other postings that people gather in grand place and that there are fireworks. What do you think?
