Myself and my wife are heading out to Sharm tomorrow and were wondering if anyone out there fancies meeting up for some diving or just to grab a beer and chill out. We're at the Novotel Palm.

I'll be doing 5 days of diving (through Ocean College). I'm AOWD & Nitrox and am looking just to do some fun dives and a bit of underwater photography. My wife is just snorkelling / chilling out as she's gone off diving.

just wondering if anyone can give me some info me an my partner both 25 fancy coming to sharm el sheikh around the end of january looking at deals to stay in the nubian village can anyone give me any info on the area were we are looking to stay if its close to centre etc, also whats the hotel like???

Also what is the weather like around that time of year?? as i know egypt can be extremley hot in summer

Hi im going to sharm el sheikh early in march as part of my first rtw trip does anyone know of any good hotels to stay at as im going to be traveling solo.
Im looking for about a 4* or 5* with a beach,gym,bar lots of activities to do and one where a lot of people speak english as i dont want to be on my own for the whole trip lol. im 22 btw

Hi, I'm travelling to Sharm El Sheikh in a couple of weeks and would like to know about the adaptors for the sockets where to buy etc. Also can anyone give me advice on the duty free situation is it best to use the airport or the shops? Any useful advise of any kind would be appreciated as it is a first for us My daughter her friend and myself (3 females on a girlie holiday).

Considering a day trip to Cairo from Sharm. Is it worth waiting until we arrive in Egypt to book this? Can anyone make any suggestions for agents in Sharm offering a good service at reasonable price?

I am staying in Sharm over Christmas with my husband and would love to go to either Cairo or Luxor (or both) for a day or 2. I have seen lots of expensive flight packages. Are these the best option as my Mum seems to think it would be cheaper to get a taxi?? How long would the drive take? Would it mean an overnight stay - we are flexible and happy to do this??

Has anyone stayed at St George Three Corners in Sharm? if so can you suggest a room that is fairly quiet. We like to go on the upper floor, probably overlooking the quiet pool at the back. If you have a room number it would be most helpful. We have stayed in this hotel, overlooking the larger pool, room was lovely, but corridor passing our room was quite noisy during the early hours i.e. 3 am. Young girls screaming, and running up and down in high heels. I can't fault the hotel, it was lovely. Thanks.

Hi - Ive just booked a 2 week break to the Nubian Village - we are a couple in our 50's - anyone got any feedback for us. We have had very mixed remarks about Sharm itself. This hotel is in Nabq so if anyone can give me any help on this area i will be very grateful.

We're off to Sharm for the first time tomorrow and didn't know whether to pre book our transfer to the hotel or just get a taxi at the airport.

We are staying in Nabq Bay in the Jez Mirabel Club hotel.

Any other tips/advice would be much appreciated.

Hey im off to sharm in 3 weeks time, staying at the tropicana jasmine has anybody stayed here and the weather says temps will be about 35. a friend of mine went in july and she said it reached 48 degrees there. will the nights be warm enough to not wear jeans etc. cheers.

I will be visiting Sharm for the first time in October with my boyfriend, staying at the Interplaza Beach Hotel, read a mixed bag of reviews, but I shall make my own mind up when I get there!!

I'm 28 my boyfriend 23, wondering what the best places to go in Naama Bay are, bars/clubs/restaurants etc.

Also we would like to do a few excursions like the Camel Safari with Bedouin Dinner, Quad Biking, Snorkelling Cruise's etc. Would it be best advised to book these when you are in Sharm or pre-book in England before we go?

I posted a question before but had my flight times wrong. My flight gets into Sharm El Sheikh at 10:45pm on Friday August 7th. Is it possible to get a cab from the airport that will take us directly to Mt. Sinai to hike the mountain that night? If so, how much do you think it would cost?

I am looking into taking a flight from Luxor to Sharm El Sheik but it does not get in until 7:10pm on Friday August 7th. Does anyone know if there are late buses to St. Catherine's from Sharm? I saw somewhere that there was a 9pm bus from El Tur, is this true? Is it hard to get to from the airport? And if we did get up late, is there a place to keep our bags while we hiked that night to see the sunrise or would we still need to get a room?

Hi you guys! I was hoping someone could help me... I'm planning to have my wedding in November in Sharm, however considering i've never been there I'm a little worried. Does anyone recommend a hotel that I could contact where I could have the wedding at? all the pictures on google look amazing, but I don't know if that's what they really look like or it's just a marketing ploy!

Also if anyone knows any reliable (well priced) wedding planners can you please let me know? I won't be able to be there all the time to watch every minute of the planning and I need someone who is reliable to take care of all the little details.

I'm staying at the sealife hotel in aug with my boyfriend just wondering quite a few things-
Hotel- Has anyone stayed here before what's it like?
TRIPS- What trips to go on who to book with i.e is my rep the safest option? and the cost? would like to swim with dolphins, snorkeling, diving, quad biking, camel rides anything exciting really.
CLOTHES- I have read things about covering up whilst there or is that in certain places. If so what clothes will be acceptable (not like i'm going to be naked just wondering about the bikini situation) :)
TIPS- How much do you tip and who do i tip? Are the men ok with blondes read bad things.
INJECTIONS- Do we need any before we go? The best medication to take with us?
MONEY- How much should we take for 2weeks and do we change all of it?

Think thats about it sorry for all of them quite worried only ever been baleric island before. Anything else you can think of that i should know please tell me thankyou in advance.

Am hoping to go to either Sharks bay or Namma bay in August this year (holding on to get a late deal if we can), but would like some advice on what people think of these and which they would reccomend?

I am thinking Sharks Bay as it will be less manic and touristy from what I have read about Naama, but I have also read that there is not much to do in Sharks Bay, although some of the reviews were quite old.

What are the nightlife, resturants, shops, bars, attractions etc like in Sharks Bay? We will be going for two weeks and are hoping to dive and take a couple of days out to see the pyramids but would like to know that there will be enough to keep us occupied day and night for the rest of the holiday if we stay in Sharks Bay.

Has anyone been recenlty and can tell me what you thought of either?

Me and my girlfriend have booked up for 2 weeks in sharm el sheikh in july. Our accomodation board is bed and breakfast. However, we are really unsure as to how much spending money we will need. All we are looking to bring is enough to pay for meals and a couple of drinks. How much is a safe amount to bring? Many thanks

Does anyone know the above hotel in Naama bay? - 6 of us are staying there at the end of August for a week. I can only find reviews and info about Falcon Hills and Falcon Viva which are in different locations. I would like to know what it is like if anyone has been there also its location to the centre and the beach.
