Waterloo Short visit to Waterloo
Posted: Tue September 23, 2008 12:46 PM UTC
Hello,

I am visiting Waterloo next week (September 29th - October 2nd, 2008) and would like to find something interesting to do in the few evening I have free.

I will be working each day.

I like walking, and was thinking of walking from the town to the Lion's Mound.

I have been to Waterloo before, but not seen much of the place itself. I did get lost walking to the railway station and so went through what seemed to be a town centre but I am not sure :-)

I'd be glad of any suggestions.

Thanks,

Chris

Waterloo Is Antwerp commutable from Waterloo?
Posted: Fri December 9, 2005 05:06 PM UTC
I am considering moving to Belgium soon, working in Waterloo. However I do not really want to live in Brussels after spending a weekend there in which the city seemed to be closed and having no 20 or 30 somethings. Antwerp is my preferred destination but I want to know is it possible to commute from Antwerp to Waterloo? It's 40 miles by road I understand but what is the traffic like at rush hour times? Can it be done in under and hour?

Your responses will be much appreciated.

I'm leaving for Belgium tomorrow and I'll be spending a day in Waterloo. Can someone give me a good wed sight for Waterloo weather?
I was able to get the forecast for Belgium and the other cities already.
I'm not sure what day I'll be in Waterloo. Sometime between Friday and Monday.

Thanks,
Vanessa

Waterloo Going to Waterloo
Posted: Sun February 22, 2004 04:08 PM UTC
Hey All,

I am planning to visit Waterloo thus tuesday - Feb 24th.

I'm a big lover of old historic places, and would love to see some of the Napolean sites.

Would anyone care to join me?
