I am thinking of going to the 2010 Euromeet in Krakow.
Whilst in Poland, I am thinking of nipping over to Belarus and going to Krivoshin, (Krzywoszyn) to the village where my Father was born and lived. I would like to see the place my Father felt that he could never return to. Who knows, there may be the odd relative still there. Tinterweb information of this little town/village is very limited with reports of anything from 500 to 1800 people living there. O course, there are no VT members living there and nobody as been to visit it either. I will hire a car and drive there; So, does anybody have any idea how far Krivoshin is from Krakow or Brest? Thank you for any information. |
