Where can I go out this friday night in Linz as a single male?

I'm there for a seminar and want to have some fun at night... I'm staying at Ibis near central station.

Hi!

I will spend a weekend in Linz and coming with a car.
Is there anywhere a place near or in the city centre
where I can park for free from friday to sunday?

Or maybe park a little outside of the city and have a
short walk to the centre.

1. Are there car rental desks at the Linz train station
2. Is there a website for the train station?

What is the best way to get from Linz Blue Danube Airport to Vienna by train? I found the schedule for the airport bus, leaving from a stop outside departure hall, going to Linz busterminal. Is this stop - Kärntnerstrasse - the one for the train station in Linz? Or is it better to go to Hörsching train station instead and take a train to Linz and Vienna from there?

I am traveling from Salzburg to Vienna in mid-June 2008 and wanted to stop at Mauthausen Concentration Camp; however, I will have my luggage with me. Are there lockers at the train station in Linz?

I need to purchase one way tickets from Linz to Rome or possibly another Italian destination for a family of four. Could someone recommend airlines for me to check. I am from Canada and unfamiliar with European airlines. Ryan Airlines was recommended as a possibility.

I'll be travelling Budapest-Linz next week but there is no bus that goes to Linz.

Could you recommend me some hot-spots in Linz?

I am aware that T-Mobile and Metronet have their
hot-spots but I am not interested in buying/renting
some extra cards just for few days of usage.

I want to use my WiFi card and access the net without
any mambo-jumbo. :)))))

Otherwise, can you recommend any internet caffes?

Hello from Canada!

We will be traveling to Linz next summer and I am having difficulty finding any rentals in this area. The closest I've located so far is one by Attersee.

Size may be part of the problem as we are looking for a place that will accommodate 6 people (2 adults and four children).

We were hoping for a "Ferienwohnung" ( incl. a kitchen).

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Areas within a reasonable distance (so we can drive into Linz daily) would also be helpful.).

July 11, arrive Ferrara, Italy, stay 3 nights.
July14, arrive Rijeke, Croatia, stay 1 night.
July 15, arrive Plitvice, Croatia, stay 2 nights.
July 17, arrive Zagreb, Croatia, stay 3 nights.
July 20, arrive Ljubljana, Slovenia, stay 2 nights.
July 22, arrive Dovje, Slovenia, stay 2 nights.
July 24, arrive Ardagger, Austria, stay 2 nights.
July 26, arrive Munich, Germany, stay 2 nights.
July 28, return to Israel (and yes, stay a lot of nights ;O))).

Would appreciate any and all suggestions of things to see, things to do, where to stay (we prefer Bed & Breakfast, but have a tight budget of maximum 60 euro for the three of us per night), where to eat, along that route, etc.etc.etc……

We like exceptional scenery, good food, good wine, enjoy cultural events, meeting people and are usually not in a hurry, we take our time to actually “see” and try to experience a country, not only put a check by the name, but we take memories home.
So any help would be great.
