Posted: Tue March 11, 2008 12:15 PM UTC
Hi dear friends from Guam. Like all travellers, I wish to travel the whole world one day, but I don't know if that dream ever comes true. As for now I would like to receive some postage stamps from Guam. If anybody has some and sends them to me, I would be happy. May be i can give something in exchange.

Love to all.

Hello everyone. I am new to the site and figured I would get started with my newest travel destination.

I am moving to Guam, from Virginia, in Feb 2008. Dont really know what to expect because it was kinda short notice. we had never considered Guam and found out last week we are moving there.

I have done all the Google searches on what to expect. Now I want a travelers eye view of guam. any info, pictures and all would be great.

Guam what months does it get over 85 fahren in the day time.
Posted: Sun June 24, 2007 08:59 PM UTC
hoping to be able to go from one place to another so as to avoid warm weather in day time and still avoid single digit weather at night
i am looking into relocating to new zealand. american citizens are limited to a visit of 6 months max . i could spend 90 days in europe a year with no problem. but that still leaves 90 days .so i was looking at guam for a few months per year.so what months does it get over 85 degrees fahren in the day time.

Guam a couple of no hotel nights
Posted: Wed April 18, 2007 05:00 PM UTC
My friend and I are going to guam next week and due to some nasty flight times have decided to forgo the expense of 2 nights (arrival and departure nights) We were wondering if there were any sort of internet cafe's or karaoke booth type thing where we could crash for a few hours?
Also if anyone knows a definite place to head to for at least 1 good party night.
thanks

Hi everyone,
I really need your help. I am planning my wedding in Guam.. and when I was doing that to see how great Guam beaches are... I saw many EPA, local news on fecal bacteria in Guam beaches. Is it true?? Is it safe to swim? snokel? dive?
It is soososos hard to believe, because the water looks so blue.
What are the best beaches to go for snokeling? what are the best dive site?
Is fishing good?
Many thanks for all your help!

Guam How to get to Guam
Posted: Sat January 27, 2007 10:04 PM UTC
Does anyone know a cheaper way to get to Guam? I am in NC and priced flights from RDU and CLT, but a little too high. I would drive a day to get to a cheaper airport.

Hope March temps are ok for swimming ? I have been to Saipan are there any better islands for beach and sand? What are the flight tickets like for further afield.

Guam Hens Night In Guam
Posted: Thu August 10, 2006 05:25 AM UTC
hi fellow travellers
My question relates to activities in Guam. I'm a bridesmaid organising a hen's night in Guam in November and would like to know where is a good place for spa massages and any other fun activities to do there. Any suggestions would be great! Cheap alternatives to hotels massages would be great and anything that immerses ourselves in the local culture is great too.

Thanks in advance.

Guam Mountian Biking on Guam
Posted: Tue July 25, 2006 02:34 AM UTC
I am planning to bring and use a Mountian Bike as my primary mode of transport during my week long visit to Guam. I will be staying in Tamuning and was wondering if this would be a practical means for getting around. I realize that with a car I could cover more area, but actually I just want a cheap and reliable way to explore.

My 3 questions are:

1) Are the roads safe enough to travel by bicycle? I am an experienced cyclist, but I have read that roads are congested with cars, drunk drivers and yahoo’s who don’t care to share the road. Is this a correct assessment?

2) Will my bike become a target of theft? Of course I plan to lock it, but is there a high rate of bike theft in general?

3) What is the terrain like? Steep hills, rolling hills, etc? Would Guam by bike be a grueling exercise, or are they areas that are particularly good for road and off road riding?

Thank you.

Guam Travel to Guam by boat
Posted: Fri June 23, 2006 08:40 AM UTC
We have booked a cruise starting from Guam on the 19th of December. We will spend November and early December in Hawaii. Our problem is we are afraid of flying, and so far have not been able to find a boat of any kind, even a freighter, for the trip to Guam. We are willing to break the trip in several segments, and we have time. Are there any boats from any islands going to Guam at this time of year? We are willing to fly several short segments (2 hour max). Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Hope to hear from you.

I'll be in GUAM (Tumon) around May 6-12 2006. I would like to go to a Salsa Dance club that has friendly women who will dance. I have heard that Hard Rock plays latin music but I don't know the days of the week. Any suggestions for this or other clubs in that area?
