I am considering taking a short-term job in Palau, but don't want to go without my kitties! Does anyone know the regulations for bringing animals into Palau? I can't seem to find anything on any of the US government websites, or the Palau embassy page.

I will spend one week end of the month in Peleliu, but i cannot reach maml divers on Peleliu, i cannot find a place for the schedule of the public boat etc etc;;
If someone knows a little bit the place, i would be happy to have any kind o infos about it; how is Wenty, where is a nice beach? is Maml divers stilll in operation? shoul i take a local plane directlyat the airport to Peleliu? etc etc

hi there. I am from Beijing China. Some of my friends and i are crazy about
Palau and We plan to go for a journey.
But since no one has been there wonder which way is the best solution?
1)just book Hotel+flight through VT
2)ask some travel agent to book Hotel+car+guide for us
(really appreciate if you can recommend me some of the better agency)
3)what will be the best place for sightseeing and must see in Palau?

Is there an option to windsurf in Palau? I'm going there in October. Is there good wind? Any kitesurfing, wakeboarding, water ski or any other kind of water sports?

July 27 Wednesday
Late night we leave Japan, very late night we arrive at Palau. Overnight at Koror.

July 28 Thursday
Early morning, we leave Koror to Carp Island.
Scuba Diving

July 29 Friday
Staying at Carp Island
Scuba Diving

July 30 Saturday
Staying at Carp Island
Scuba Diving

July 31 Sunday
In the morning we will leave Carp Island and arrive at Koror.
We will stay in Koror till late night.
We will leave Palau for Japan very very late at night.

August 1 Monday
We arrive at Japan in the morning.

What airlines serve Koror? I am planning a trip in late October and November, but find it difficult to identify all the possible ways to get to Palau. I am also considering an extended stop somewhere else just to break up the long flight time both going and returning to San Diego.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, any great travel agents who specialize in diving, and ecotours in the area.

Can someone tell me which would be a better time to visit Palau for diving - 1st week of October or End-January?

When is the water flattest? My husband gets sea-sick so we like to avoid diving in choppy waters.

Also can we do heaps of day-trip diving or would we have to do a liveaboard?

I am a 26-year-old British writer, with a strong interest in environmental work and organic cultivation of fruit and vegetables. I am hoping to find somewhere with a WWOOF (Willing workers on organic farms) scheme or some similar type of work exchange, housesitting arrangement or something similar in an interesting place or community on Palau. I have been living in Iceland for the last 3 and a half years and I have had enough of the cold - I have been very interested in coming to Palau for some time and am hoping to find somewhere interesting there to be now. I'm hoping ideally for somewhere organic, with lots of fruit and veg, people on spiritual paths, interesting ideas, contact with nature, lots of opportunities for learning and growth, an internet connection to sustain my writing, permaculture principles and lots of happiness in the sun.
