Aberdeen Moving to Aberdeen
Posted: Tue August 3, 2004 11:13 PM UTC
I'll be settling in Aberdeen on a work related assignment for around 8 months. This will be my first experience in living as alone as an expat-
I'd appreciate if anyone can give me pointers on:

1. accommodation. Where are the safer/better resedential areas? are there blocks with security etc available? What should i expect when renting a single bedroom apartment (paywise and expectationwise)? - my target budget is +/- GBP 350

2. Do I need a car to get around?

3. Best ISP deals?

Any other tips are highly appreciated- thanks

Aberdeen Moving to Aberdeen
Posted: Mon April 19, 2004 01:19 AM UTC
Hi there,

I am about to relocate to Aberdeen this May. With a budget of 1,450 pound per month, what kind of accomodation can I get? Will that be sufficient to get a place close to the city center with 2 bedroom?

Also, with 340 pounds per month, what type of car will I be able to lease or purchase?

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Posted: Wed February 19, 2003 11:49 AM UTC
Hi there,
I was wondering if you know any shops in Aberdeen or around that sell international beers (and not only the usual selection of Tesco or ASDA).
In particularely I am interested in Austrian and Lithuanian beers ...
Any help or advice on this?
