I heard a rumour that permission had been granted to show every match in the 2010 World Cup on an enormous screen in Barking Park in East London. There is nothing whatsoever about this on the net. Does anybody know whether the rumour is true and if it is will it be free, what's the deal etc etc.

I read Dave Sebastian's review of the Barking Greek Restaurant in "Barking Town" but when I went there recently to give it a try, it was closed. I wondered if anybody knew whether it was shut permanently or just closed for holidays or a perhaps a re-fit. There was no note or explanation and nobody around to ask ?
