Gloucester Travel Forum

Hi. I'll be arriving in London on 29 April 2007 but I'd also like to see Gloucester and Oxford. I have time from 2 May - 6 May before I have to be in London again to fly to Frankfurt on 7 May.

Would really appreciate anyone's help in answering the following questions:

(1) What is the cheapest way to get to and from Oxford and Gloucester; and how much do I have to pay?
(2) How much time will I need to see Oxford and Gloucester?
(3) Trains and buses, how much travelling time will they need?

Ok, so I want to go to the cheese rolling competition at Cooper's Hill. I have a coach ticket to Gloucester. How can I get from Gloucester to Cooper's Hill? Bus or rail or walking? How far is it? Also, is Cooper's Hill a town, or just the name of the hill the where the competition is held??

I may be possibly moving to Gloucester for a job. What is the social service situation there? And also is it a enjoyable place to live? Any demographic information would also be helpful. Thanks!

I will travel to Thewkwesbury in a few weeks,and Ill might work there in the company of oberthur card system.But Iam afraid of unsuccessful iterview.I dont speek in engish very well and if the interview wont be managged then I wil have to seek another job.
I dont want to come back home because the travel is very expensive for me and I cant afford to do it.I plan my stay in your country for at least a year,and during that time improving my english.

I would be grateful if someone could serve me any kind of information about seeking jobs or accomodation on that arrea,because I dont know that city and dont know the possiblityes(everything suit me that I can do).I have seen the hotels but those are too expensive,but I havent found another possiblity.Are there any other one(rental room etc).it also would be good in the other towns nereby.
