I'm arriving in Antalya within the next two months. I need to get from Antalya to Anamur and back. What's the best mode of transportation and how much does it costs?

Arkadaşım Antalya havalanına inenecek ve ben onu oradan alacağım. Şimdi bu aşamadan sonra zaman ve gidilecek yerler birbiri içinde uyumlu olmalı. Zaman da önemli tabi. Arabamız mevcut.

Havalanında'n alır almaz, Duden veya Kurşunlu şelalaesine götürsem abes mi olur diye düşünüyorum ? Siz ne dersiniz bu konuda yada havalnında sonra nereye gitmeli?

Antalya şehir içini şöyle bir gezdirsem mi ? Kale içi falan ? Antalya'ya daha önce gelmiş ve gördüğü yerlere götürmek istemiyorum ve nereleri gördüğünüde bilmiyorum tabi... :(

Kale içi vs. gösterik diyelim, benim kafamda Olympos'a gitmek orada denize girmek var. Gece Olympos'da konaklarız, gece yanan ateşe götürüm. Olympos'da bunun dışında yapmamız veya görmemiz gereken bir yer var mı acaba ?

Ertesi gün Olympos'dan fasilis - Patara - Finike vs. o taraflarda bir yere gideriz diye düşünüyorum ama neresi olur bilmiyorum. Fikirleriniz var mı acaba nereye gitmeli ne yapmalı ?

Son durak Fethiye Ölü Deniz. Orada'da diyorum Boat Tribe çıkarız, bir geede orada kalırız.

I visited Kalkan back in 2002 and bought a kaftan/cover-up?? from Yousuf the Tailor in a little side street in Kalkan. I would love to find out if it is possible to buy from him again of if he is still there? I really enjoy relaxing in my kaftan but it is getting a little past its wearable date.. I would appreciate any help in locating this tailor. Many thanks in advance.

Am catching a ferry from Alanya to Cyprus I believe the ferry arrives in Girne but what time of day? and how far is it from the greek border ? is there a regular bus service from Girne to the Greek border and beyond ? Am arriving on Cyprus the day my visa expires so i must get over into greece the same day.

Well , I just confirmed my vacation, and I plannin to go to Antalya for the first time next week. for real I don't know much about antalya which makes it more exciting for me. my question, is that what is the best hotel in the area of antalya. Iam looking for a decent hotel close to the beach and active night life :)... also, if anyone fancy a drink there I wil be so happy to meet up.

Been looking for a holiday with my missus.

She demands a nice beach. I want things tyo see and day trips etc.

We have looked at Muscat, Agadir, Sousse (Tunisia) and all have their + and - but Side in Turkey seems to have a lot to offer.

2 questions.

1. Has anyone been, does it fit the bill?
2. What things are within reasonable travel distance to see in Turkey (Not just locally)

I suppose this is a general Turkey question but I've posted it here since my holiday will be in Kalkan in Sep 08. Is it better the exchange British pounds in Turkey than in UK? I heard you get a better deal if you exchange in Turkey, if that's the case, where's the best place to do this?

I have asthma and have read much about this cave. Most say if you have a note from a doctor you can go to this cave at a special time for treatment. Do I have to get the note from my doctor in Sweden or do I get it when I visit Alanya? Thanks in advance for your help.

I have also, heardthat there is a dolphinarium in Antalya. How is one supposed to visit the dolphinarium?

I am soo confused about the bus service from Antalya and Alanya. It seems there will be buses that leave every half hour or so. But these buses ar 4 km from my hotel in old town Antalya. I don't really want to take a taxi. Is there a service that will take me from the clock tower in old town to the otogar? Is this transfer a problem or easy and does it cost much? Is a dolmus and a minivan the same thing? Once at the bus station is is easy to find a bus to take me to Alanya? Do I book in advance? Once in Alanya will I need a minibus to get to the beach hotels? Will I have to go through the same procedure to get back? Is there a water taxi from Antalya to Alanya each day and if so is it expensive? I will have one small overnight bag. Thank you in advance for answers to part or all of my questions.

I am a new member and have read through most of the responses and they are all very helpful. Most of the information I've found has come from this website.

I am going to Kalkan and flying into Dalaman first. What is the best way to get to Kalkan? Drive or private airport transfer? Would it be better to rent a car for our whole stay in Kalkan (5days). We hope to visit Kas, Kekova, the Gorge etc. I believe there are buses, dolumuses but I'm just worried that they don't run too frequently. On the other hand, not sure how the driving/parking is and especially the 2h transit time from the airport to Kalkan. Any suggestions would be helpful. Please advise and thanks for your help! Can somebody give me any info regarding the new Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort & Spa in Belek. The hotel is a new one and is the new premium hotel of Cornelia chain, the other one hotel of the chain been Cornelia De Luxe Resort?

I need an advice with regard to Antalya - which of the 5***** hotels is best for the person travelling with his spouse and two kids? I'd love to stay in a hotel with all the facilities for kids.

Where are the sandiest beaches in Antalya? We are going to be there in early August which they say is high season for tourism. Do not mind driving out 2 hours to get to good beaches that are not pebbly.

hi myself and partner will be visitng kalkan for 2 weeks from the 9th may,
we have looked at some sights showing sun bathing ledges can someone explain if we can use them, and where are they?
