Chester-le-Street nights out in Chester Le Street
Posted: Sun May 18, 2008 07:32 PM UTC
I have only just moved to Chester Le Street and have absolutely no idea where exactly to go that I would like in Chester Le Street. Does anyone know good bars and pubs to go to? My birthday is coming up and I have no idea where exactly would be good to be honest. I like places that have good music in and fairly decent drink prices. With my Birthday night out being on a thursday also I have no idea what thursday would be like in Chester Le Street town centre. When I have been out in Sunderland (Where I used to live) I would go to places like Flares, vision, pzazz when it was there and yates. Does anyone know good places for to go on a thursday night in Chester Le Street?

Chester-le-Street Where to stay
Posted: Tue October 31, 2006 11:40 AM UTC
Wondering what B&Bs are nice in Chester Le Street to stay? I've been looking at Low Urpeth Farm, The Lambton Worm and the Blackhorse Inn, are any of them decent? Is Low Urpeth Farm miles outside the town?
Thanks :-)

County Durham Accomodation & Things to See
Posted: Sat July 15, 2006 07:33 AM UTC
We'll be stopping in Durham for the night en route from York to Edinburgh. Any recommendations for hotels/B&Bs for Durham?

Is there anything worth checking out in the town? If not, probably it's better to stop for the night somewhere outside the town near the highway. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Darlington Help/suggestions with housing
Posted: Thu June 1, 2006 04:52 PM UTC
I am coming to Darlington to do some work and my housing has just fallen through. Any suggestions on affordable accommodation in or near Darlington? By affordable, I mean very affordable (I'm a grad student and the work I'm doing is on my dime). I leave next week so any help is VERY appreciated. Many, many thanks.

Durham What's Open?

Is the Cathedral open for tours in December? What else should be on my 'must see' list. I heard I shouldn't bother with the castle - true?

Durham Durham pubs
Posted: Fri April 11, 2003 02:20 PM UTC
I'm planning a reunion here in the summer and as we are all coming from different locations wanted to suggest a good pub to meet in when we arrive.

Can anyone recommend a good traditional pub in the heart of durham (or somewhere that is easy to find) Many thanks Ruthy
