I would like to travel from Bodrum to Pamukkale on the morning of 6 October and then travel to Selcuk in the evening where I plan to stay the night. I would like to see Ephesus and then travel to Eceabat on 7 Oct. I would appreciate any information on bus timetables and travel times.

We are travelling to Pamukkale in October and have read all reviews on these 2 hotels. Can anyone provide preferences? Which is closer to Tavertines? Thank you.

Am planning to visit pamukkale from selcuk next week. Are there buses from selcuk or do i have to go to izmir? How long does it take. i know i will reach denizli and then go to pamukkale. should i take a tour to pamukkale and heiropolis, or do it on my own? where would i book this tour: denizli or selcuk and how much would it approximately cost.

I'm in need of information on the Pamukkale->Goreme route. Is there a bus company operating overnight trips? Or possibly from Denizli? Do they have the trips every day? I looked at a few places and couldn't find information on this. I'll be leaving Pamukkale on a Tuesday-if that's of relevance.

In a rented small car we plan to go from Izmir regoin to Pamukkale and then to Fethiye over a few days. While the road from Izmir to Pamukkale is pretty stragightforward, I have trouble selecting a route to go south. It's a mix of small roads with no apparent best choice, and the worst part is that my maps differ in what they show!
Here's what I know now:
Some guidebooks seem to advise going west through Mugla almost to Marmaris and then along the coast to Fethiye as it's the best quality road. I don't want to do it if I don't have to, because it's a great detour.
I would prefer to go through Cavdir, although I am not sure about the road quality and the exact route to take (there seems to be two)

Anybody has done it or knows how others do this route?

Just wanting to know the best way to get to pamukkle from Dalaman/Fethiye. Would you suggest a bus? And if so, is it easier to wait til I arrive in Turkey to purchase a ticket? Do I have to go to a bus company or do theys ell them on the street?
Also, to stay in Pamukkale. Can you recomend somewhere?

I will arrive an a Friday evening around 22:00 in Denizli AIrport (Çardak). What is the best (and affordable) way to get from the airport to Pamukkale town?

I understood from another users question that there is no direct dolmus or bus to Pamukkale.

However are there taxis waiting or is there any other means of transport? What would it cost - for example by taxi?

I've seen hundreds of photos of people swimming in the water at Pamukkale, but one web site I found says people are no longer allowed to do this because it was damaging the formations. Then tonight here on VT I found photos of people in the water in October of 2003. Can someone tell me for certain whether people are allowed to do this?
