Staying in Olbernhau

We are planing a holiday in the Erzgebirge in May-June and are considering making Olbernhau our centre (we are with a car). While I have had some very useful information from the Olbernhau tourist office,as well as more general information on the whole region from the tourist office at Annaberg-Buchholz, I was wondering if anyone has any personal experience or impressions of Olbernhau that they could share.
