I m planning to go for Umrah from Dubai. Does anybody know if I can apply for an urgent Visa for Umrah. I want to join my parents who are already in Makkah. Could anyone please advise what is the minimum time required to get a visa.

I have searched in the internet for Makkah/Madinah maps where would be more/less precisely indicated territory which is off-limits to non-Muslims and have not found anything. Maybe someone here knows and show the link?

Hello, here i got 2 question:
1)I got an offer to work in jeddah (contract position for 2-3 years period or until completion of project). My company already get me the saudi visa. my problem is my company not send me work in jeddah but in cairo, egypt first for short period (6 month) before go to jeddah. How about my saudi visa that already expired if im not enter to saudi? any problem if i want to extend or renew my visa?

2)What is the procedure (visa) to bring my wife to stay with me in jeddah?
Anyone can advise me accommodation rate in jeddah?

I was wondering about the weather in Dhahran? I have applied for a position in Saudi Arabia. I've looked at different blogs, and they all say different things regarding the weather. Some say that the average temperatures in summer is around 96 degrees. others say up to 110 or 120 degrees farenheit. I just read one a few minutes ago that said it could get up to 150 degrees farenheit.

The highest recorded temperature in the world is supposed to have been 122 degrees. So I'm confused.

We are planning to go for Abha trip this July but we have no information on any travel agent available in Abha as we heard that it's impossible for a group of ladies to travel there without arrangement.

What is the shortest time needed for planning to go to Umrah (or mecca only). I mean, can I decide to go to Umrah and leave within 48 hours? what is the shortest time from 1st step of wanting to go to sitting in the plane? back in 1998 I was able to go to Umrah within 48 hrs. Could I still do that?

We heard that they assist in processing or acquiring a reference note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jeddah or Damman for employers of business visa holders who want to bring their spouses/wives for a "special visa" just to visit the place.

Please can you tell me if there are any public car parks near Haram Sharif? Also where are they located, i.e street names.

I drove to Makkah the other day but could not find anywhere to park safely. I have heard there is a undeground car park somwhere?

There is a tunnel that passes under Haram sharif (i think it is called King Abdul Aziz Tunnel)where I saw some cars parked. Is this a parking area or a drop off zone only?
