I'll be driving to Kenmare upon arrival in Shannon late morning (red eye flight). Will be renting a car and wanted to know what to expect - if anything out of the ordinary? Not worried about the driving on the other side of the road. How long of a drive?

I'm looking for a nice B&B in Kenmare or environment.
Price range may vary from 60 to 90 euro/room.
Because I like to drink some guinness in the evening, it's preferable that there are one or several nice pubs close by, where bar meals are available.

We stayed there in June. Lovely property and the hosts cannot do enough for you. They even arranged to have my laundry done by a local service so I did not need to pack as much clothes on this trip. The rooms are big and airy. It is about a 10 minute walk into town. The town itself was a little touristy for my taste but it is a great jumping off point for the attractions in the area.

Hi

Anyone know if there are any car hire companies in Kenmare
I will be attending a wedding at Sheen Falls but would like to do some sightseeing afterwards.

I've been trying to look online but the closest car hire place seems to be in Killarney.

Any ideas ?

Does anyone know of a decent place to stay - preferably something fairly central (close to restaurants for supper), not too pricey, needing it for 6 adults.
Thanks :-)
