My son and his girlfriend, both students, will arriving at Dublin airport in 2 weeks time. They will be staying in Malahide.Does anyone know which would be the best form of transport from the airport? Also places to visit from their base, probably by public transport, and is Dublin city close enough to visit?

We thought about Howth which we like alot but never been to Malahide and it is much closer. Read a great VT tip about a B&B, are there any good pubs for our last night in Ireland which we may be meeting up with an infamous Vter from England.
