Albufeira Late September Early October, Large group.
Posted: Sat August 2, 2008 01:13 PM UTC
Hey!
Myself and 15 others are coming over to Albufeira in late September.
We are staying in our own private Villa in Guia, but are looking for some more entertainment. Of sorts anyway. We're all travelers here so we should all be aware of the street sellers trying to sell drugs, stolen goods etc down the Strip (I've been to Albufeira several times a year for 8 years), However this is the first time I'll be going with a large group of friends.
So we're basically looking for stuff that the whole group of us can do, We aren't really into the clubbing scene mainly because we can't stand dance music (Rock/Metal all the way!) Though we certainly aren't opposed to drinking!
Any suggestions would be fantastic.
Thanks!

Oh, Any suggestionst o get some safe marijuana would also be fantastic ;)

I am contemplating booking this hotel for a week in early September. Is it within walking distance of the "strip?" If not, is it easy to get a cab from the hotel to the "strip" and return?

Thanks.

Hi,
I'm off to Albufeira at the end of this week and wondered if you could give me an update on the current weather situation as the websites totally seem to contradict one another!

Also, is there a website that I can check that is fairly reliable?

Thanks

Albufeira Dress etiquette
Posted: Wed April 16, 2008 10:56 AM UTC
I'm off to Algarve in May and want to know what the weather will be like then - Is it primarily warm and i can survive on shorts and a t-shirt? Or will I need warmer clothing?

Also, want to go enjoy the nightlife in Albufeira and was wondering what the 'going-out' dress code is like over there? Can you wear flip flops? Do you need proper 'going-out' shoes???

Any advice appreciated!

Albufeira Weather in April?
Posted: Sun March 30, 2008 01:45 PM UTC
I am going to Albufeira next week (beginning of april) and was wondering if anyone can tell me what the weather is like in the evenings.
I know the days are quite warm and i'm hoping we can sunbath but if we are to go out in the night do you need a coat or jacket or it is still quite warm?
I've been abroad before in early spring and it was chilly in the evening so i want to make sure i pack to right clothes.
Thanks

Albufeira Auramar Beach Resort
Posted: Thu March 27, 2008 12:03 PM UTC
Hi all,

Me and my girlfriend will be visiting Albufeira on 8th July 08 and will be staying in the Auramar Beach Resort on a B&B basis. I was wondering if anybody has stayed here or knows anything about the place so we get a clearer idea of what to expect. We have read many reviews from travel sites some great some not so great. Any reviews at all would be appreciated. Sort of things I would like to know are the size of rooms, cleanlines etc. Also what is the average price for food and drink. And is the waterpark worth a visit? And one last thing, will it be seriously hot at this time of year?(8th July 08)

Thanks
Andy

Albufeira HEN NIGHT
Posted: Tue March 25, 2008 03:32 PM UTC
I am hoping someone can help me out. I am organising my friends hen party and wanted to know an Upmarket club that we can go to. Celeb hangout etc. I heard Libertos is good. We are looking to go to a slightly high-end nightclub. I know Kiss and Kadoc are good clubs if you want a crazy drunken one, but we want a more classy affair on our final night any suggestions. We also are looking for a classy restaurant. Suggestions much appreciated,

Albufeira Worried!!
Posted: Tue September 11, 2007 09:58 PM UTC
I have just booked a weeks holiday at the end of September with my boyfriend at the Valmangude Jardim apartments and am now starting to worry!!

We read a few reviews before booking which all seemed ok but now I am doing more investigating after booking I'm starting to worry that we've made a mistake.

We primarly wanted a chill out hol but with the option to have the odd lively night but having read more about Albufeira I am starting to think we are going to Blackpool!! Is this right or is it a bit calmer in september?

Also can we escape the craziness if we go to the old town or is that quite comericalised as well?

Has anyone stayed at the Valmangude Jardim apartments? The reviews of the actual apartments sound brill but I'm concerened that they seem to be right on a busy main road, is it really noisey?

Sorry for all the questions, I just want somebody to put my mind at rest....having said that please be honest with your answers so we know what to expect,

Thanks in anticipation!
