5 of us are thinking of going to Albuferia in October 2009, just wondering if its still busy? Whats the nightlife like? Going there for the nightlife, so wanted to check everythings still buzzing & not shut down!
Also, can anyone recommend any hotels that are right near "The Strip"?

Apart from Algarve Shopping are there any shoe outlets in or around Algarve. I know that in UK a lot of the shoes sold are made in either Spain or Portugal and wonder where I could buy these?

could anybody tell me about the weather in the first half of Oktober? I know that the average temperature is about 22 c, but what about the temperature of water? Is it enough warm for swimming in the sea?

Considering albuferia for a stag party abroad, nothing too mental but we certainly want some lively bars etc.... How busy is Albufeira the first 2 weeks of april?

Is there a Bus travel to Albufeira from either Sevilla or Huelva? Can you give me details? Four of us will be traveling to Albufeira 5 or 6 July 2009.

Hi, could anyone please tell me the current sterling to euro exchange rate when changing in Albufeira. We are arriving next week and wondering whether to exchange here or there?

We are visiting Albufeira in July and would like to take a trip to visit Lisbon, staying over for one night and returning the following day.

Does anyone have any suggestions please as to the best way to travel. We will not be driving and so would prefer train if that is feasible? Does anyone have any experience of this in terms of travel time, cost etc. (2 adults and 2 children).

what is the distance from quinta da balaia st to albuferia town centre
is it with in walking distance or does one need to take a taxi or local bus
and what would the cost be

Hi we are going to be staying in Old Albuferia later this year, we don't drive and wondered if there is a bus to get us to The Algarve Shopping in Guia, I now that in Villamoura there are free buses several times a day.

Also where is the market in Albuferia? I know of the one in Quateria.

Looking for a real cheap apartment for me and my mate.Dont care what it looks like,as long as location is ok and its clean.We are on a real tight budget as we orginally were suposed to be staying with friends but cant now as no room.Any help would be much appreciated,thanks guys!!

Travelling to Albufeira Christmas eve arriving mid day, what time do the supermarkets close that day, for example lidl? would vegetables be available thatday Also I need to know time of church servise in old town Christmas eve.

Will be in ALBUFEIRA this coming Christmas with my wife, daughter, son in law and 9 year old grand-daughter. Appreciate that Christmas Eve is the big family meal time but looking for suggestions as to where we should eat on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Not wanting Turkey etc on both days but would like to experience what the Portugese eat at Christmas ( although a couple of the party are pretty sticky when it comes to eating so a restaurant that suits a wide tase would be better) Any ideas as to where we should eat and what we should eat? Will we need to book ?

Myself and 15 others are coming over to Albufeira in late September.
We are staying in our own private Villa in Guia, but are looking for some more entertainment. Of sorts anyway. We're all travelers here so we should all be aware of the street sellers trying to sell drugs, stolen goods etc down the Strip (I've been to Albufeira several times a year for 8 years), However this is the first time I'll be going with a large group of friends.
So we're basically looking for stuff that the whole group of us can do, We aren't really into the clubbing scene mainly because we can't stand dance music (Rock/Metal all the way!) Though we certainly aren't opposed to drinking!
Any suggestions would be fantastic.

Hi. Me and my friend are going to Albufeira on the 2nd of september 2008 and would liek some advice. Ive just recently come back from albufeira in may and it wasnt overly busy will it be busy in september or will it be quiet?
Also wen me and my friend were over there hardly any of the girls wore anything! is that still the same as gota get my diet going if so! lol

I am contemplating booking this hotel for a week in early September. Is it within walking distance of the "strip?" If not, is it easy to get a cab from the hotel to the "strip" and return?

hi we are off to albufeira in july, and going to have a couple of days in lisbon going to travel by express bus you can get on either in bus station or centro of albufeira we know the old town a little as this will be our 3rd visit can any one explain where centro bus stop to albufeira is please.
