Mobile Internet in Canabas de Tavira

I will be staying in Canabas de Tavira from Sept 2009 - April 2010 and wonder if there is anyway I can get an Internet connection. There is none at the condominium where I will be staying.

Is Mobile Internet an option in the Algarve?

Hi,
Im visiting tavira at the end of may early june and ive never been before.
Im staying in the porta nova hotel..is it any good? ive read its on a hill, has this caused a problem to anyone? : S
im not hiring a car..is the public transport easy to use & reliable? : )
What are the local places of interest? id particularly like to do a dolphin cruise..are they any good? any suggestions as to where is best? : D

We are staying in s/c accommodation in Tavira for the first time in September and wonder if anyone could name some good restaurants/bars and general places of interest. We are not young, but not old (if you know what I mean), so rowdy bars which drink into the wee hours are not our scene anymore (been there, done that etc etc) but we do like music/atmosphere etc.

Places to visit nearby

My husband and i are coming to Tavira and Alvor in early June,1 week in each, we have been to both before and love them but we are wanting to visit any interesting places nearby but we do not drive and we are not on a package.Can anyone recommend any trips organised locally or places which are reachable by public transport?

We are planning to visit Tavira at the end of May or in the beginning of June. I was wondering if the water is going to be warm enough (20 C)to swim?

I was wondering if anyone can help with a car hire company that allows multi-destination drop-offs, ie perhaps hiring in Tavira or Faro and dropping off in Lisbon or Porto?

Can anyone tell me where we will be able to get to from Tavira by bus or train? We are driving up there next month from our home in Southern Spain and don´t think hubby will want to use the car much once we get there!

Planning to visit the area in Feb 2006..While browsing this evening I got an overwhelming feeeling that this area would suit me very well as a retiremnet/long stay destination to escape cold winters in northern Ireland. Have looked at property prices and they seem not too inflated..what is the catch? seems to have it all ..peace , beside sea, historic, is there something I'm missing..?

Is Tavira suitable for a child in a wheelchair?(Tavira v Lagos)

I noticed in one of the photos of Tavira that a member says that Tavira has a lot of steep streets with steps. My daughter has a wheelchair, I am trying to decide between Lagos and Tavira. Any advice would be welcomed!

Hi i am an artist from the uk and i was on holiday for 1 weak in the new year and we were in the hotel villa gale the old tuna fish factory and i made a fisherman on the island over from the hotel walking towards the anchors he was about 8ft tall has anyone seen him ?

left luggage

Hey there. I coming in from Heulve or Seville by bus and my hotel is in Albufeira. But I'm thinking of getting off at Tavira, do some sight seeing and taking a train from Tavira to Faro, do some more sightseeing and then train to Albufeira.

So my question is - is there "left luggage" service at Tavira and Faro train stations?

I am going to stay in Moncarapacho (Tavira is the closest I could find on the list) at the end of September start of October. I was just wondering what the weather will be like? Hot enough to sunbath and wear my bikini???
