Tortola Safe in Road Town for lady alone?
Posted: Tue April 5, 2005 01:35 AM UTC
I will be in Road Town by myself for two days. Anyone had any problems as far as safety, theft etc. Walking around with a backpack O.K.? I have had an incident in Costa Rica and wanted to know if this is a concern in Tortola? Thank you.

British Virgin Islands Ever heard of Peach Cottage or Sugar Loaf Cottage on Tortola
Posted: Wed December 29, 2004 12:13 PM UTC
Hi there,

Has anyone heard anything about Peach Cottage on Tortola...either stayed there or heard comments? I've searched the internet high and low and haven't found a person, yet, that has had an experience with this cottage. AH!

We're looking for a reasonable private cottage with a private pool for sometime in June and this appears to be the cheapest.

Sugar Loaf Cottage is an option too, anyone have comments regarding this place as well?

Thanks so much, in advance.

Dawn :)

British Virgin Islands Wedding in BVI?
Posted: Wed May 26, 2004 08:43 AM UTC
I live in UK and plan to travel the world in 2 years.

I wish to marry in BVI during the travel.

I have never visited the BVI and would like ANY advice.

Time of year? Locations? Wedding Organisers on BVI? Hotels? Receptions?

I will be accompanied by only 10 guests and am looking forward to a simple , catholic wedding in a naturally beautiful setting (waterfall, beach). No tacky!

Thanks

British Virgin Islands Diving in BVI
Posted: Fri May 14, 2004 09:13 PM UTC
Hi, I'm headed to the BVI in a month. I'd love to do some diving down there, but will probably only have time to dive one or two sites. Are there any must-dive spots that you recommend? I hear the Wreck of the Rhone is the most popular spot, but is it really that great?

Thanks!

Necker Island Necker Island (british virgin islands
Posted: Thu March 11, 2004 11:29 AM UTC
Has anyone else viited Necker Island owned by Richard Branson, I was lucky enough to go there a few years ago and it was wonderful, not over the top fussy service, but so relaxing and homely in a way , with only 12 couples allowed at one time for 2 weeks of the year, the rest of the time you have to rent the whole island for a week.

British Virgin Islands What is new in the Virgin Islands?
Posted: Sun October 26, 2003 03:01 AM UTC
It has been a few years since we were last in the USVI and the BVI. We always charter our own bareboat and love to snorkel. Is there anything new from the water based travel that we shuld know about? Great new restaurants we need to try (all reached via dingy) or some that we should avoid? We have always gone in the spring. This year we are going in December. Will the water be comfortable with prolonged snorkeling with shorty wet suit? Thanks for any tips!

Tortola Johnny Hill Villas or Serendipity House - Need Inf
Posted: Tue December 24, 2002 03:28 AM UTC
Hi,

I am trying to decide between Johnny Hill Villas (on a hill overlooking Cane Garden Bay) or the Serendipity House (overlooking Josiah's Bay). If anyone has any comments (good or bad) on either property, I would love to hear from you. Thanks, Lori
