Does anyone know if clubs / bars etc will be open in March here for a stag do location?? I read the weather is unpredictable but is it still shorts weather generally?? Reeeeeeally need advice to make my decision....

I am currently staying in the far west of Benalmadena it’s a 13 Euro ride into town so I normally catch the 120 bus as its only 1.30 Euros. However, I want to go to the train station, which is some distance from the 120 bus service along the coast road about a 30 minutes walk uphill.
If I catch the 120 bus along the coast can anyone tell me the local bus that I need to catch?
Alternatively would it be better to catch the 120 into Torremolinos and then the train into Malaga?

Hi all,
In May I'm staying in Torremuelle Playa 2 apts avenida de la Torre Torremuelle.
Could someone please tell me if there is a coastal walking route in the direction of Benalmadena.

I have booked a holiday here during the Christmas week. Now I am slightly worried that there will be nothing to do here at this time.
Will everything be open ? Also will there be things to do? We were hoping to go on some day trips.
I am particularly interested in the shopping as well. I heard there are great markets there but will they be open that time of year?
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!!
Also I have received mixed reviews about the weather at this time of year.
Some people have told me it will be raining, others have said it'll be nice and warm, maybe 19-20 degrees. Not sure which to believe!!!

I am going to Benalmadena with friends the weekend of 29 Oct- 2 Nov to celebrate my 30th! On the Sunday night we would like to book a meal in a nice restaurant for 16 people! Any recommendations (not Italian!)? Thanks very much!

We are staying at the Hotel Holiday Polynesia in a few weeks. What would you suggest is the best way to get there from the Malaga airport? We don't want to have to do too many transfers since we'll have quite a bit of luggage with us.

I am just wondering if anyone can tell me where my hotel is in comparision to the marina. I am going to be staying at the Sunset Beach in Benalmadena the first week of August and just wanted to know how far/close I am tomost amenities. Also, going with 3 other girlfriends (aged 26 to 30) if you have any other tips!! Thanks

Hi All,
I will be staying at the Arcosur Principe Spa in April / May 2010 unfortunately the spa at my hotel is closed indefinately. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any decent spa's / beauty salons in the area.

Hi,
We will be in the Flatotel International the last week of August. Any suggestions about where to go with eleven people (five kids between 9 and 16 included)? We hope to rent a big van and see some of Andalucia. Perhaps a trip to Gibraltar and/or Tangiers. We will probably travel for about 4-5 of the 8 days and use the hotel as a base. All suggestions for restaurants, activities and trips are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Hi, i am going to Benalmadena in September, i dont know which hotel to pick between , The Best Hotel Siroco or The San Fermin, i believe there is another hotel called the Siroco that is quite bad, but i am looking at the Best Siroco, can anyone advise, also are there any trips to Gibralter at that time of year, i have been to Benalmadena before, about 20yrs ago, so it will have changed.

When we were on holiday in Benalmadena last year, we were told of a weekly bus ticket which would save money on local travel as we were staying out at Torrquebrada. Is this the "bono" ticket I have read about on your site and if so, can we buy it in advance or only in the town?

Hi all, gonna be going on a stag holiday for a few days in March 2010. Whats the nightlife like at that time of year, will any of the main clubs/pubs be open. Can anyone recommend activities to do during the day as well (apart from drinking).

me and my wife are going to benalmedena ,on the cost del sol on 13th january with some friends, we have never been there before and would like to know the cost of cigerettes per sleeve of 200, preferably sovereign's. and also embassy. we will be driving from malaga airport, so do not mind driving to another part of the costa del sol if the cigs are cheaper in another resort.
