A group of students will be visiting Benidorm/Alicante in March 2008 as a residential visit. We have accommodation between benidorm and Alicante and was wondering what is the best way to travel, also transport at night?
We would also like prices if available. Thanks for your help!

I've read elsewhere that coaches have been banned for the centre of Benidorm and all transfers from the airport are now dropped at the bus station, where you then find your own way to hotels. This seems strange, I can't see people being happy with it. Perhaps it's just some transfers and a rumour has grown? Can anyone confirm if this is the case or not?

Also we found a good Levante front restaurant for our New Year meal last year for about e40-50 each, can anyone recommend a good one in a simliar price range, we like Spanish food, thanksDiPhil

I'm going to Alicante in March and I think we'll go out in Benidorm. Does anyone know how we can come back from Benidorm to Alicante in the night? Is there any night bus?

Firstly, where is the best place to eat paella in benidorm? And secondly This is a very lllloooonnnnggg shot.

A few years ago I went to the market there and some guy was selling these sweet things. They taste like donuts and are long and thin and funny shaped (hexagon) they come out of his machine and he cuts them to length. He then adds a coating of sugar to them. They were delicious. Anyone know what they are called OR the name of the company that makes the machine.

I posted a note recently about the Don Miguel 1 but have had no response as yet so perhaps I could be a bit more general about what we're looking for. We're spending New Year for 2 weeks in Benidorm and are looking for an apartment for 2 of us, hopefully facing the Levante beach but was looking for something a bit cheaper than Les Dunes which is nearly £700 (excluding travel costs). We want something comfortable and clean probably 2 keys with enough stuff for self-catering. We've stayed in the Vistamar and the Paraiso 10 for the past two years and they were ideal for our needs so if anyone knows of anything similar along the sea front we'd be very grateful if you could advise. I came across the Don Miguel 1 apartments online which have stunning views across the Levante beach but couldn't find any reviews on them (except one for 2003). We're looking for clean accommodation for New Year holiday, we don't mind if it's fairly basic so long as it has all you need for self-catering. So has anyone stayed there? Can you advise please? I don't want to book it if people have horror stories so would be very grateful for any feedback, thanks! Diphil

Hi, I plan to visit Benidorm in the end of September. Desided to stay in Grand Bali. I would like to get the room on top of the Hotel. May be somebody know -should I pay more money for that or just ask? And it's not clear for me - it Grand Bali the tallest in Spain or in Europe?

I would like to ask you about Benidorm Transport. We will be staying at Hotel Los Dalmatas in Calle Estacolmo. Would anyone know where is the nearby bus station in order to reach the FGV station, so that we can go to Denia, Alicante, Villajoyosa etc? Thanks a lot

hi, im going staying in murcia for 3 weeks this july with my 8 year old daughter. i know she will just love this park. the problem i have is that i dont drive. ive been told there is a train station at terra mittica wich is next door. but im concerned next door might actually mean a 3 mile walk to the enterance, can anyone help? also ive heard about all inclusive tickets to the park. these sound great, but most people say they are only available from benidorm beach etc and if im going on the train i wont be going into bendorm itself. does anyone have any ideas about how i could get some discount vouchers/all inclusive ticket. also can i take my own food in with me? thanks steph wirral x

Can anyone tell me if the Hotel Venus refurbishment is finished as it has been closed for a while I saw a light on via the webcam in the dracma bar below the hotel although it wasnt to clear we are going in a fortnight and wondered if everything was up and running again. IF you are staying there or if you walk past will you let me know if it looks fully open as if it isnt I could rebook somewhere else.Thanks

Going to Benidorm in May and was wondering how much it cost for a beer and a meal around the resort. I have heard it's cheap but how cheap is cheap. Can anyone recomend any good bars to go to? Cheers

We really like the look of benidorm and terra mitica but what other things are there for young couple...Other than nightlife we are wanting things to do like various activities a few crazy things like abseiling,paragliding is there anything like this? Also can you swim with dolphins anywhere near benidorm?......Is it still good in September? (Around the 18th)

Also a daft question i know but can you get your hair braided there? Ive had this done several times on holidays just by foreigners out on the street and want it done again it looks fab! LOL

Can any one suggest some good clubs or bars I could go since I will be coming for the nightlife.And around what time do you suggest to go to these clubs? Another query I would like to make is will they be open on good Friday? Is it worthed to spend a day at Terra mitica? Which rides do you suggest not to miss?
