We are taking my Mother and Father in-law to Silverstone to watch bike racing in September & are not too sure where to stay. We want to be within 10-20 miles of the circuit and be somewhere that has shopping for the ladies, more market town than shopping mall.

We also require some good restaurants & a nice quaint hotel.

I have Bicester in my head but not sure if it would be suitable.

Any ideas?

Hello, In June I will be relocating to Kettering from the United States. I am 28 years old, and am looking to live in a place that has a decent amount of things to do. I was looking into Northampton and wanted to see how the commute would be to/from Kettering, and if it would be possible to do so by rail. Also, are there any other areas I should consider looking into as well?

I have been looking for this gal, Carol. She was a friend of mine in England from 1963-65. She lived in Wellingboroug and I was stationed at RAF Alconbury near Huntingdon. She had a sister that married an American and moved to Chicopee Falls, Ma. She worked in a TV factory in Wellingborough. I don't know her last name but she may have moved to the States as well. If anyone can help me find her or know how I might locate her I would greatly appreciate it. I know this is like finding a needle in a haystack, but would like to know where she might be. Thanks to all who have tried to help in the past. I now have a picture that I can post that was taken around 1963. Barry
