Córdoba Visit Cordoba?
Posted: Sat May 9, 2009 02:45 AM UTC
Would it be better to plan a day trip to Cordoba from Granada or from Sevilla?

Which would be easier travel?
Would the bus or train be most convenient?

I do have more days in Sevilla, but am not sure that would be the best plan, as I originally thought.

Your suggestions welcome!

Thank you.

Córdoba Patio Festival
Posted: Sun April 20, 2008 04:03 AM UTC
I will arrive Cordoba on 27 May. I note that the Patio Festival will be held u
until 18 May. Will the patios still open on 27 May? How do I know whether the house host participate in the Festival so that I will not be an intruder if I enter their Patio?

Furthermore, as I have a packed schedule. After strolling in Le Mezquita, I have only a few hours left before returning to Cordoba station. Which part of Cordoba has the best patios so that I can go direct there?

Córdoba Taxi and lockers
Posted: Sun April 20, 2008 03:59 AM UTC
I will do a day trip to Cordoba on my way from Seville to Madrid by AVE train . As my itineary is very packed, I have the following questions and hope that VT members can help:

1. In order to save time, I plan to take a taxi from Cordoba train station to Le Mezquita. Is it easy to get a taxi? Is the charge fixed or metered?

2. I note that the lockers in Cordoba train station are closed and I can only use the lockers at Cordoba bus station. If all lockers are used up, is there any suggestion as to where and how can I deposit my luggage?

Córdoba Getting from Cordoba to Toledo
Posted: Thu April 10, 2008 02:53 AM UTC
I am trying to plan out our trip to Spain for the end of May. As I start to finalize our trip details I have run into a snag. We plan on going south and staying a night in Cordoba and want to travel from Cordoba to Toledo for our last night before flying out of Madrid. I cannot find any direct train routes or trains that appear to travel from Cordoba to Toledo. I would think that there has to be a way to do it without going all the way back to Madrid. Any suggestions?

Córdoba Left luggage - where ?
Posted: Mon April 7, 2008 01:49 PM UTC
I am trying to establish whether I can leave some light luggage at the train or bus stations at Cordoba? I read somewhere that the lockers at the station have been closed. Is this correct?
Is there a 'consigna' at Cordoba bus station?

Córdoba Hotel in Juderia
Posted: Fri March 28, 2008 01:09 AM UTC
I recently came across an inn/hotel in the Juderia and can't seem to find it anymore. It had somewhat of a unique boutique-like look to it. Any help would be great as I promised a friend that I'd gladly make reservations. Thank you!

Córdoba Cordoba to Seville?
Posted: Mon May 14, 2007 11:14 AM UTC
Hi all! I am leaving Madrid in the morning, maybe, by train since it is too long to take a bus to Cordoba and waste a beautiful day.

My question is, if I need to be in Sevilla by nightfall of the same day, is it roughly the same price to take a train to Seville from Cordoba rather than the bus? I know it is close by, so the hours would only differ by an hour, more or less?

Email me at alfromcebu at yahoo.com

Thanks!

Córdoba Hostal or Hostel....two nights or one?...and the sol.com
Posted: Wed February 28, 2007 09:37 AM UTC
I have been having such trouble finding a cheap place to stay Easter week, and have found Hostal Osio to have a room, or the backpackers....Albergue Juvenil de Cordoba. Anyone have experience with either of these? I seem to only be able to reserve the Hostal Osio through sol.com and wondered if anyone has had experience with reserving through this website...is it reliable?

Also, is there enough to see in Cordoba for two days?
Many thanks!

Córdoba hotel for 24th Feb! quick!
Posted: Fri February 23, 2007 07:58 PM UTC
I am travelling tomorrow early in the morning to cordoba for 1 night and I am having a few problems getting availability for accomodation, I was hoping to stay at the youth hostel but it is full! I am travelling on my own so they would preferably have a single room. I´ve been on a few websites but they are either full or only have expensive accomodation left. please can someone recommend somewhere fairly central and cheap. Or if i just go to the tourist information center when I arrive would they be able to find me something - thanks!!

Córdoba How long should I stopover at Córdoba?
Posted: Tue January 2, 2007 03:42 PM UTC
I will be going to Córdoba before heading to Seville.

Would appreciate if someone could advise me how long it takes if I follow this walking tour. ( http://www.infocordoba.com/spain/andalusia/cordoba/sightseeing/cordoba_historic_centre_walk.htm )

And also, how do you get to town from the train station?

Thanks in advance!
