I am fascinated by the looks of the mountains and intend to go in january next year.

I am a passionate photographer and intend to take some nice landscape photos at dawn/ dusk.

Will there be snow everywhere? to which train station should I travel (will come from Barcelona) ? Which village should I stay ?

Although i have left it a little late, im trying to get a short hiking holiday sorted out in picos de europa this easter, however im having trouble working out a route there.

My original plan was to get a flight to bilbao and go to picos from there...but im also aware its possible to get there from santander. Does anyone know which is the easier option, and how to actually get there from these places?

Any help would be absolutely brilliant.
