Need some transport advice please.

My daughter needs to get from Empuriabrava to Girona airport on Tuesday morning. She plans on getting a taxi to Figueres train station, a train to Girona, then taxi or bus to the airport. She has a bad leg so can't walk far hence the taxis!
The Sarfa bus is a possiblity but it gets into the airport 40 minutes before checkin closes so I think that's cutting it a bit fine.
Is there a ticket desk at Figueres train station where she can buy her train ticket or is it all self service machines? What tariff should she ask for?
Any other helpful tips would be much appreciated as she's returning on her own and only speaks a little Spanish.

How to get to Roses from Barcelona by rail

Hi, What is the best way to get to El Bulli in Roses from Barcelona without driving? Are there trains that go there? I am in Barcelona overnigth and would like to go to the restaurant.
