Market days in Maspalomas Posted: Sat April 7, 2007 11:21 AM UTC
Hi, I'll be in Maspalomas 16 - 23 April, I wondered what the market days are in the area, ie Playa del Ingles, Melonaras.
I'd heard there's one in Puerto Morgan (spelling?) on Fridays, is that so? And how far away is that?
Many Thanks for any replies.

Club Maspalomas Posted: Mon April 2, 2007 11:57 AM UTC
Does anyone know how I can get directions from the airport to the Club Maspolomas Apartments/Hotel.
I'm a travel agent and 1 of my regular customers doesn't want to wait until he arrives to get directions!
I found the following address when googling the names:
Avenida Touroperador Osl Wings, 1 Campo Internacional, Lote,14, 35100, Mas Palomas, SPAIN

The beaches and Spa Posted: Thu March 29, 2007 09:16 AM UTC
Myself and the wife are going to Maspalomas in easter, and were wondering where the normal / nudist beach split line is, and how far along the coast does it stretch ? ( we dont want to offend the clothed people :-) ) Also, the wife has heard about a Spa nearby, and was wondering how many Good Spa's there are, where, and what do they do ( massage/mud bath etc ) and does anyone know rough costs for the Spa's ?
Cheers

Where are nice places to snorkel on the island, and which boat trips should I do for this? Posted: Thu March 22, 2007 02:22 PM UTC
Can anyone recommend some nice places on the island to snorkel? I will be with my 7 year old so it has to be child friendly, but we would like to see some interesting fish. Also are there any boat trips we should do to get a great snorkel?
Thanks everyone!

We are going on a family holiday to Puerto Mogan in Gran Canaria my son would like to use his Toshiba laptop. Obviously we would need a plug adaptor but would the currency be ok for the laptop, it is a new laptop. Also any other tips on Puerto Mogan would be appreciated, I do know its a quieter area which is what we like, we are staying at the Mogan Valle appartments

We are off on our (well deserved) holiday Posted: Fri January 12, 2007 06:40 PM UTC
Hi all,
My wife and I are about to book to go to Gran Canaria (Maspalomas) in May to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary - and we're travelling without our children (is that mean?!!) but after all this time we think we need some time for ourselves!! - I've read most of the posts and seen alot of the photos - but if there was one thing we should do while we were there what would it be?

Ferry lines Posted: Wed January 3, 2007 06:15 AM UTC
Hello,
i'm about to go to Grand Canaria's Playa de Inglesi in very start of february this year. Currently i am looking for ways to visit other isles as well. So i'm trying sort out some cheap ferry lines. There are two major as far i have understood: http://www.fredolsen.es/ and http://www.naviera-armas.com/ .
I've found those from very this forum. There was also said that naviera-armas is cheaper - exactly what i'm looking for! But had no luck in their page because i couldn't choose any date in their wizard to calculate out some approximate price. So does somebody have some other resource to share or that given in english. Spanish isn't really my strongest side :). Remember i'm looking for cheapest. No luxury needed, just ride :)

Where to stay??? Posted: Wed December 27, 2006 04:30 AM UTC
My wife & I are thinking of going to Gran Canaria in October for some autumn sun but don't know where to stay. We are looking for somewhere where we don't get mobbed by timeshare reps, Club 18-30 parties & full English breakfasts. We are looking for somewhere with good beaches, cafes & decent restaurants but where we can find a few night clubs if needed.
I don't know if this is asking too much but any help will be appreciated.
Cheers,
Rue

two islands in 5 days Posted: Mon August 28, 2006 12:40 AM UTC
Hi friends,
I will be in Tenerife for 5 days and was hoping to make a trip also to visit Gran Canaria while we are there at the same time.
-I was wondering what the best way to get to Gran Canaria (I suppose by Ferry) and how long it takes.
- Can we see much of each island in 2-3 days each? The reason why we wanted to go to both islands is to take a quick tour around since my husband are interested in moving to one of these islands.(we hope!)
Thanks
