Interesting things for a 2 yr old (and a dad) Posted: Thu January 19, 2006 02:57 PM UTC
Hi,
I'm off to Gran Canaria (Playas del Ingles) with my 2 yr old son and I have the following questions:
- are there other interesting things than the beach for a 2 yr old?
- are there babysitting services available on the resort?
Thx a bunch.

Teach english in Gran Canaria Posted: Thu November 10, 2005 03:02 PM UTC
I was wondering if there is any jobs teaching English in Gran Canaria? I have had a look on the internet but there does not seem to be any in Gran Canaria. If any one has done this job or could recommend a website to look at that would be a great help.
Thanks

Looking for my future home on Gran Canaria Posted: Wed August 31, 2005 10:25 AM UTC
Hi everybody,
I fell in love with the Canaries and therfore I'm looking for a small building plot or a finca to renovate somewhere in NE Gran Canaria, at a resonable price ... I screened many infos from local agents over the Internet, but none fitted or what was interesting was already sold :-(
If someone has a hint, I'd be grateful.
Best regards,
Gerald

Which area (not lively)? And weather in Feb/March Posted: Mon October 4, 2004 03:19 PM UTC
My paretns hope to go to Gran Canaria end of February /March.
Which area of the island is best to stay in? They definately DON'T want somewhere with nightclubs and rowdiness. I'm guessing from my brief research this rules out Playa de Ingles and Puerto Rico.
Just somewhere with a good few restaurants and traditional bars/cafes nearby, and where they can enjoy day trips to the various sightseeing spots around the island. (e.g, not isolated)
Any ideas?

Hi everyone! I came to Las Palmas two weeks ago. I came here to study English Filology at Univeridad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. I'm from Poland. I'm here with my friend Maciej. We are running out of money (we didn't know that life here is so expensive) and we need to find a job. Our situation is very bad. We don't know Spanish so it seems to be very difficult. We speak english and polish. We are interested in every kind of job, even the hardest one, physical. I'm 22 years old and my friend is 26. Please help us. Maybe you need someone to clean your house. I don't know- anything... PLEASE HELP US...

Holidays in Gran Canaria Posted: Sat September 11, 2004 09:10 PM UTC
Hello!
My sister and I want to go to Gran Canaria from the end of september to the first days of october.
I would like to reserve a "all inclusive package" but if it' wasn't possible we would have to reserve the flight and the lodging separately.
Could anybody give us advice about where we can reserve without paying too much?
Any interesting web where we can see what we can do, see, visit,... there?
Thank you!!
