Organised Tours Posted: Fri May 11, 2007 10:46 PM UTC
Hi me again thanks for all the info about buses - have another question about trips to Barcelona from Lloret - i apologise for the fact that my questions are so mundane but am travelling with my Dad and he has a diploma in worrying - he wants to know whether it would be better to risk trying to see Barcelona on your own or going with a tour organised by the hotel - is this better value and what types of things are included for the price etc (very boring question i know but there we are!)

Barselona Airport transfer Posted: Mon April 16, 2007 03:09 PM UTC
I will need to go from Barselona Airport to Tossa in mid-May. I plan to take a shuttle to Lloret De Mar (which is GBP 21.25) and then a taxi to Tossa. Will that be OK? Is it possible to take the same route on return? Are there better ways? Many thanks.

The cheapest way to learn English Posted: Tue August 8, 2006 03:09 PM UTC
Hello all,
Next Saturday my friends and I are going to Lloret de Mar for a few days. We’re not looking for a non-stop party nor a beautiful beach.
We’re Catalans and if we wanna go to Lloret it’s only because this is the cheapest way to practice and to learn English.
Of course, we gonna go out all night long but only for academic purposes… the problem is that to understand people speaking English after 10 pints of beer is very difficult to us… so we would like to meet funny natives English speakers to do some cultural activity or to go out to take a cup of coffee.
Important think: we’re three 29 years old boys and of course if you’re 3 pretty girls this would be perfect, but remember, what we are expecting it’s only a good conversation to increase our beginner English level.
