Looking to take a Ryanair flight to Girona in July 2009 and looking for advice on resorts/hotels. Travelling alone and looking for relaxation/beach holiday daytime and a decent nightlife. Which resort should I choose? Was looking at Lloret de Mar or Callela but any resort which suits my needs would be ok. Also what hotels can anyone recommend that are reasonably priced but do have a bar, restaurant, etc. Also is it easy to get from Girona Airport to this area by public transport? Many thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi

Going to Lloret de Mar next Wednesday. At the moment the exchange rate at our local travel shop is £1 = € 1.05. (Lancashire, England). How is the rate looking in Lloret?

Not sure whether to change my money here or there? Never been to Lloret before, if better to change there, where is the best place to change my money please?

Getting from Lloret de Mar to Figueres & Empuriabrava

Hi. I hope someone can help me as I have been sending emails to spanish transport companies and no replies.

I will be staying at Evenia Olympic Park in Lloret de Mar, and need to get to Figueres and then Empuriabrava.

1. Is it possible to get a direct transfer?
2. What is the best means; bus or train?
3. Where can i find the times as I am on a tight schedule to arrive in Empuriabrava at a certain time.

hello. im going to a barcelona football match this saturday, im staying at
lloret de mar.im just wondering if u can help me. i just wna no how much would a
train cost to barcelona sants to blanes? and how much a taxi would be from
blanes to lloret de mar? or is there buses what run from blanes to lloret de
mar. the football match finish's around 22.00, and i need to get back to lloret de mar in the cheapest and fastest way. please help somebody!

Barcelona to Lloret (late evening)

Hi,
I am staying in Lloret for 4 nights (4th-8th Sept)but attending the England v Andorra game being held in Barcelona on 6th Sept. I would imagine it will be a real hastle trying to get back to Lloret at 21.00 hrs (09.00pm) or after ?

Any ideas ?

How much would a taxi cost (if I can get one!).

I will be staying at the Evenia Olympic Park hotel in september and i need to go to Figueres. Is there a bus or train that takes me there? I need to go to the Empuriabrava.

Hi ! I Wanna go with some friend in august in LLoret del Mar at Royal Beach Hotel..I didn't find many information about LLoret del Mar, and I would like to ask you, or anyone who's been there to tell me a little about how it is there...Is it worth it to stay 7 nights there?Thank you

Vegetarian restaurants

Going to Lloret da Mar for 6 days, will be staying in "Oasis Park".
Need recommendation on restaurants, preferably not far from the hotel, for vegetarian person. Doesn't have to be vegetarian only, could be regular with decent vegetarian dishes but not over-priced tourist trap.

Will be grateful for advise.

Hi, my mate and I are going for 5 nights in the aquarium hotel,we are over 35 will we enjoy lloret and secondly will it be easy for us to have a day trip to barcelona?

Hi, I am staying in lloret de mar in june but am planning on going to sonar in barcelona at the same time. The only problem I have is that the trains and buses back to lloret de mar seem to stop at 11! Is there any services that anyone knows of that I may have missed that travel during the night? Thanks

Transfer Girona to Lloret

How much would a taxi (from the taxi rank) be for 2 people from the airport to Lloret? I've seen prices around €32, but is the per person or per journey? I had had a price for a private transfer and that is £26 per person each way, thats more than the flight. I went on the resort hopper the other week and it took 2 and 1/2 hours EACH way!!! Not doing that again.

Hiya, We are two 20 year old girls going to Lloret del mar on Wednesday! We have no idea what its gona be like and what the nightlife is like at this time of year??!! Is anyone else going to be there at the same time as us or if not can anyone let us know what its like??

This might be a daft question, but can two people travelling together put thier allowance (obviously weight permitting) in one suitcase? Or does an individual have to personally carry their own?

Transfer Barcelona-Lloret de Mar

Hello! We are a big group of 15-16 people (including 6 children) and we will fly in September to Barcelona (Prat). Can somebody help me to find out which is the best way to have a transfer from the airport to Lloret de Mar? I'm interested both for a public transfer or a private one for all the group. I would like to have a direct transfer from the airport to the hotel without any stopover or bus/train change. Can you give me some links where should I try to find this kind of transfer? Thanks a lot.

Can someone please tell us what to expect in respect of NIGHTLIFE and things to do during the day?

Also any ideas what the weather is usually like during that time of year?

Hello Everyone

I have just booked a few nights in Lloret De Mar for next month, know its not the best time of year to go but its cheap!!

Just wondering if any of you can give me sonme advise on what to expect for this time of year? e.g. what will the weather/night life be like? Will all bars and resteraunts be open?

Also do busses stil run to Barcelona? If so how often and how much do they cost?
