We are a family of four (including 2 teenagers) from Singapore visiting Spain in early Dec08.

We have booked an apartment at Costa del Sol at Benalmadena (Pueblo Evita) for a week and hope to visit Seville, Granada, Cordoba or Tangier during that week. Would you advise that we rent a car to make day trips to the above places during our stay? Or would it be better for us to book separate day tours to the above places?

We also intend to book an apartment in Barcelona for a week and make day trips from there. Again, should we rent a car or just book day tours?

Would be grateful for any advice to help us in our planning.

will be arriving on a sunday midday... I've been told that many stores would be closed on Sunday. Will Grocery stores be open ?

I get in late at the airport 10:55 pm on a saturday night...how much should I expect to pay a taxi to go to Torremolinos? Are there still buses running that time of night?

Does anyone know where I can get a bus from Malaga City on Thursday 10th April ( Can you point me in the direction of any online timetables ) that will allow me to spend a little time in Mijas, Ronda and finally Gib. I dont have to worry about returning to Malaga as will be staying in Gibraltar that night. I would like to leave as early as possible to spend us much time as possible in these villages but get into Gibraltar by 6 - 7 pm. It would also be nice to know where to get get of and on the buses again in Mijas & Ronda ? Any help appreciated as always..cheers :-)

I will be in Malaga from the 9th April only for one week but also hope to arrange an excursion for a few days to Morocco to visit Tangier & Asilah. Hi! This is our first visit to Spain and we would be in Malaga for a week in June. Can anybody suggest how do we visit the above places. Is it possible to do it on our own by taking the Spain saver pass. How many days pass do we need since we don't understand the system. We, however speak only English and have a child of 10 yrs. Also let me know of some reliable tour operators for day trips. thanks

Has anyone stayed at this boutique hotel? It looks brilliant and I understand has just opened for the 2008 season. I am thinking of going there but wanted to get some feedback on the local tourist activities etc. before I book. I found their website www.palacioblanco.com which is excellent but need the local info before I make any decisions.

I googled "Parque Comercial Malaga Nostrum" but is this a real outlet or a shopping centre/mall? Wasn't able to get the street address for this one either??

We will be in malaga during one day. Where can we store our luggage?

How far from port where cruise ships dock is it to nearest open top bus tours? How far to taxis? And about what does it cost for each? Can we walk from port to taxis and/or bus stops? We will be coming in May, 2008 via the Carnival Freedom. What is our best option for transportation/tours if we only have the one day in Malaga? We would love to see Alhambra Palace if possible. Need the info ASAP, as we need to confirm tours w/host company, and don't know whether they are a good deal. Thanks!

We are flying to Malaga in March and renting a car. Where would one recommend staying for the first night as we are planning on sightseeing and just need to see Malaga for one day only.

I want to leave my car in malaga for 2 months Preferably near the airport starting from January. Are there any cheap car parking? alternatively I have to park it in Gibraltar for £45.00 per month. Thanks.

as part of my planning for November 2007, I need to see if I can check in earlier at Malaga airport. I'll be flying British Airways and need to know if I can check in earlier than the usual 2 hrs before departure. If not, is there someone I can store my luggage at the airport? How about safety?
