Marbella Visiting for a week, best nightlife/things to do
Posted: Sun May 13, 2007 10:01 PM UTC
Hi everyone, me and a few of my friends are coming down to marbella and wondering what the best things to do at night would be -- is cafe del mar open in may? We are not looking for standard top-40 dance clubs since these can be found anywhere; does anyone have any tips on alternative nightlife and/or nightlife unique to marbella?

thanks so much for any help with this question!!

Marbella Marbella or Puerto Banus?
Posted: Wed May 9, 2007 07:55 PM UTC
im going on a trip with my 3 girl friends, we all just turned 21 n want to go celebrate and have a very girly relaxing break.we r planning on going to either marbella or puerto banus. we have got amazing deals for hotels in both places.

marbella- gran hotel guadalupin marbella,,,2bedroom suite with private jaccuzzi, no break fast included

puerto banus- gran hotel guadalupin, 2 rooms, inclusive of breakfast and spa vouchers for each person

price for both r very similar so we dont mind. just wanted to know which place is better to stay,,,cuz both hotels sound really tempting. we r only there for 3dyas so need to maximize our time and get the best out of the trip.

Marbella restaurant Recommendation
Posted: Mon January 1, 2007 05:31 PM UTC
We're bringing our two sons (20 and 17) plus my wife's father over to Marbella for a long weekend to celibrate my father in law's 80th birthday. We need a recommendation for a 'special occasion' restaurant that will suit us all.

We're visiting in the first week in February so we need somewhere with a good atmosphere even in winter. Any cuisine is ok but the food must be of a high standard. Any suggestions?

This year I am off to Marbella to celebrate new year, can anyone tell me how the Spanish celebrate new year and what the nightlife is like in Marbella at this time of year? Do the night clubs/bars close down over the winter season or will there be plenty to keep us entertained?

Could anyone recommend a friendly, inexpensive but reliable taxi service to take us from Malaga airport to Marbella please? Also, we fly out on the 19th October and the forecast looks awful. Is it normal to have a week of rain in Marbella in October? Thanks for any replies :-)

Marbella Marbella's Beaches
Posted: Tue July 25, 2006 03:29 PM UTC
I will be staying at a hotel in the Organe Blossom Square in Old Marbella. I have stayed in the past in the hotel El Fuerte nearby. My question is, where will I find a nice beach? The one in the part of Marbella is not very nice at all, and I wonder if there was a really nice beach within walking distance of the old town.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Marbella Sunnysmile/Wendy
Posted: Wed June 28, 2006 10:16 AM UTC
Many thanks for your reply Wendy I would really appreciate any tips you can give me in regards to Puerto Banus. I know I am spoiling the kids but it's more spoiling myself really. I really only booked this holiday as a friend of mine had an appartment there and allowed us use of it. So while we normally go on a package deal each year this year I am having to organise everything myself as in flights transfers from airport etc.. so need all info I can get.

Marbella Puerto Banus Accommodation
Posted: Thu June 1, 2006 03:00 PM UTC
Hi,

Can anyone help me with accommodation in Puerto Banus? I need a room that can accomodate 3 people comfortably. I am going 6 July and will be staying for 3 nights. I have tried to find accommodation but found that most places only allow a mimimu stay of 4/5 nights or more. Does anyone know if there are any places that accepts 3 nights only in or around Puerto Banus?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks :-)
