I will be taking my first trip to Menorca this summer. I assume that English is widely spoken due to the great numbers of British tourists, but should I also attempt to learn some Spanish? Is Castillian spoken, or should I come prepared for Catalan, too? Thanks for any advice!

We are visiting Santo Tomas early September this year. It is our first trip abroad for some five years. We are staying at the Mestral Llebeig Apartments and will be hiring a car to explore.
Any information on the resort, accommodation or recommendations for places to eat, things to do would be great. |

We are thinking of booking this villa next year but cannot find any info about it. Is there anyone out there who has been to this villa and can tell me about it. Also we would like to know what the resort is like as we have two young children. Thanx everyone.

If you have been in Menorca island, in balearic Spain, can you tell me where i can find a small, quiet, in a nice beach, and if possible good price Hotel in the island. Hi
We are a couple and we'd like to stay in Ciutedella (the town) preferably self catering in June in a studio or one bed place.Does anyone know of anywhere? We don't really want to stay further along the coast as The Rough Guide is pretty unenthusiastic about it.Any help will be much appreciated. Jayne |

My family and I are off to Cala n' Porter in 2 weeks time, it will be a first trip abroad as a family and I wondered if anyone could recommend restaurants, evening entertainment, trips out etc, we have 2 kids aged 15 and 9!

My family and I (husband and two daughters) are going abroard for the second time ever. We are going to Cala n Forcat, anyone been? Is it any good? Where are the best places to eat, drink etc

I hope to be over in Menorca over the Easter period. I was wondering if anyone knows how Easter is celebrated over there and if there are any events which would be interesting to experience? Any other good tips on what to do would also be great. Thanks |
