Having massive problems trying to hire a car for 2 weeks from Murcia airport (staying in MAzarron). Getting stupid quotes (£8/900) or no avilability.
Can anyone help or failing that advise of decent taxi to and from airport (for 3 families) that also dont want something like £600?!?!

i am going to murcia spain this summer with children aged from 7-11 years old can anybody help me out with anything i can plan with them ie boat trips waterparks etc also is there a train link to valencia and if so is it worth going.

hi, im planning a holiday to Murcia, have found an accommodations where me and my friends can stay, found cheap flights
the only problem is, that the accommodation is in Murcia, to be exact, Mazarron.
i've tried to find any connection (like train, bus, subway) but i cant really find something. any has a suggestion?

Hi there, im going to Murcia in a couple of weeks and was wondering if there is anywhere in Murcia to rent a moped or quad bike? I've searched the interent but no luck. Hello can anyone tell me how to get to Seville from Murcia by public transport. I don't mind if it takes a long time, but I have already booked my accommodation in Seville, although it's not the same day as my flight so have lots of time.

I am flying out to murcia airport and am staying in bullas.... am I able to get a train to bullas from the airport ? cannot see that there are any rail links. Is a taxi my only option ? If so what sort of cost am I looking at ?

We know it is a quiet town, but I was wondering if there were any good bars or even clubs there? Also, if anyone could recommend a good restaurant it would be much appreciated!!

Am arriving at Murcia airport at 10.00 in the morning (September 07) and leaving two weeks later at 10.30 am I haven't been able to find any suitable buses to take us to Puerto de Mazarron and the airport transfers I've checked out are ridiculously expensive. Does anyone have any sensible suggestions as to how we can do these journeys? There will be two of us. Cartagena looks as though it's in between the two places. Are there buses to and from there?

I am finding it difficult to find out about any public transport available in the area. We are staying at La Manga Club and would like to visit Murcia and Cartagena. We will not be driving and there will be six people in our party. Does anyone know if there are bus or train routes available between La Manga and these towns?

Murcia looks good. Plenty of nice architecture. But I don't see any people in any pictures!

Is there any socialising to be done in Murcia?

I would like to spend evenings mingling with locals and sampling local wines & tapas. However, there seems to be scant mention of such delights occurring in Murcia.

Are there any lively areas for an evening's indulgence??

Does anyone know about a country restaurant in the outskirts of Murcia that serves baby lamb chops that are killed right on the spot? I was there in 1974 and was wondering if it still exists. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Me and my friend are leaving Japan to visit Murcia in late November. We have aquaitences there, but I thought I could get more info by posting on a forum.

1. I'll be coming to Murcia from Madrid. I'm hoping to go to a beach town on the way, spend half a day there, and then go to Mucia on the same day. Looking at a guide book, all I could think of was Alicante, but are there more peaceful beach resorts that is easy access from Madrid and to Murcia? The sea has to be very beautiful though. Btw, I will be alone for this day.

2. After I meet my friend in Murcia, we will be going to Almagro to spend a night there. But access seems to be complicated. What do you think is the most easy way to get to Almagro from Murcia?

Have been to spain many times but not Murcia - I'll be "working" there summer 2004.I heard its a dog-rough spot and i'm worried!!!
