We are going to be staying in Nerja, if we want tovisit Frigliana do you think it is necessary to hire a car or is there a bus service there?

Does anybody know what might be happening to the "car park" area opposite La Perla restaurant below El Litoral in Calle Filipinas in the Burriana area? Is it likely to remain a car park or will it be developed in the foreseeable future?

I desperately need to book Xmas dinner for preferably Xmas day and also Xmas Eve somewhere in Nerja for 7 people. I would prefer English if possible because my dad is rather conservative in his tastes. I have searched and searched the internet but no phone numbers or sites of restaurants seem to be available. Please help

Does it still exist?

Can anyone help..... myself and my family (party of 5) are spending the new year in Nerja for the second year running. Unfortunately last year we had terrible problems getting a restaurant as everything was pre-booked up. We like to visit the cafe carrabeo when ever we are in nerja, but they are not open this new year. Can anyone suggest another reasonable priced (but lots of character) restaurant and provide the name, address and phone number so I can book now.

Have recently moved to Nerja, but have never experienced Christmas or New Year here. Would love to know a good place to go for a really nice meal on Christmas Day either lunchtime or evening - doesn't have to be traditional English fare, just great food and a great atmosphere. Also, where would be good for New Year - I gather the Balcon is the place to be at midnight, but any suggestions of where to go before hand?

we are flying out on the 19th oct for 1 week. The 10 day forecast is showing rain for the thursday and friday, would just be our luck! does anyone know if it has ever rained for a full week in october? thanks Linda.

i am arriving at malaga airport sat 30th at approx 19.00 if on time. by the time i collect car etc i should imagine i will arrive in nerja quite late, iam staying at ladera del mar. can anyone tell me where i can get supplies ie food at a late hour, also i believe supermarkets are closed sundays any suggestions?
is there any resturant where i can visit without parking troubles as i dont suppose i will feel like hunting around at that time after travelling.

In Nerja I wanted to visit Mr. Glyn Eaton, who had Bar Chanquete once upon a time...and I did not find. Did he move? And what about Trudy? I missed Bingo and Karaoke and Billard.....

Can anyone tell me how far away it is to the nature park in the mountains from nerja, I am interested in going on a jeep tour but wondered how long it takes to get there and has anyone been to the mountain top restaurant that is recommended to stop at?

We are going to Nerja at the end of July and am interested in a jeep safari.
We have looked at a couple of tours but wondered if anyone has been on one and could recommend a company to book with.

I am hoping someone can help! I am hoping to come to Nerja in September and do a week of Flamenco Classes - I can't seem to find any information on the web. Do you know of any schools that offer a week long (5 days) course? Found some in seville, but really wanting to visit Nerja!

First of all would just like to say this is my first visit to such a site and I am very grateful for the advice and information left by so many of you.Its very useful !

We are going to stay in the Flamenco Hotel in a few weeks and from reviews Ive read the rooms are small other than the double rooms in the new annex. I have spoken to our holiday company who says we can change our twin room to a double for a supplement but they cant confirm where it will be in the hotel. Does anyone know whether all the doubles are in the new annex ? I dont want to pay a supplement to find we are still in the old part of the hotel with no additional space just a change of twin beds to a double bed.

Any info would be appreciated.

Hoping to get married in Nerja in September (I know alot of work to do!!!)Could anyone recommend either a restauraunt or hotel that has a large balcony or garden so that our guests can enjoy the evening outdoors. Obviously quality of food would be important. Hoping to go on a scouting mission in Febuary to check places out

please can anyone tell me what the Vila Flamenca is like in Nerja.
It is based on half board & is a total price of £775 for me & my boyfriend to go which i thought was great.
Please can you tell me more about the location of the hotel, and whether it is close to nightlife where we can go to nice restaurants, bars, pubs, shopping etc. The last holiday we went on was nice but there was not much to do for a young couple like us.... we are only 20 & 21.

Not only have I spent a lot of time there but have, (and now do perminantly), live there. I will be resident in Nerja from 16th December 2005 onwards.

My wife and I are coming to Nerja on the 18th December for a week. Seasoned travelers with many years spent in Greece, Italy, Croatia, Prague, the Algarve, Malta and Albania? Yes trust me it was different, we both in our middle to late 40s and are looking for authentic andalucian bars and restuarants. Would be eager to meet up with any like minded people

We are going to be in Nerja on New Years Eve. Would sks advise us on the place to be.The events look great at the Balcon de Europa. If we go there what time should we arrive? Can you advise us of a restaurant nearby so we can eat beforehand, do we need to book if so a telephone or e~mail number would help. Any sort of food is appreciated around 15-25 euros per person on a normal day for a main course if they sell freixenet and have any sort of entertainment that would be a bonus.
